If you are considering this opportunity, do it! And make sure to stay longer than 2 weeks, as it is not long enough:( Everything exceeded my expectations from the facilities, the staff, the volunteers and the even the work. Everything is super clear and straight forward and you are given so much time off. There's also a lot of beautiful places in the surrounding area that you can visit with all your new friends:) I'll be back again next year and i'm counting down the days❤️❤️i've made memories for life here and i'll never forget the doggies and cats (and goats😂)

I spent some time at this shelter and absolutely loved it. I improved my English, learned so much about the shelter care, and met wonderful people from all over the world. The atmosphere was full of love, warmth, and good energy, i felt at home from day one. The staff is absolutely amazing: kind, passionate, and truly admirable in everything they do. I had really a great time in ara! Thanks to the staff members I felt at home from the first day and spending so much time with the animals (dogs and cats) was the highlight of the experience. I loved every moment in this magical place surrounded by nature.

I had a great time again!! It was my third time at ARA and it always feels very special being here. I loved spending time with the dogs and cats and had such a great time wiht the other volunteers! It was very hard to say goodbye and I'm already looking forward to being back again! Would definitely recommend, if you love spending time with animals and don't mind cleaning tasks :))

I'm really grateful for my first volunteer experience abroad at ARA. It's a special place, and I loved every moment with the dogs and cats, from quiet cuddles to playful chaos.
