I've been to Ara just two times now, but the whole place has a very special place in my heart. Arriving here you'll feel so welcome and everyone, volunteers and staff are incredibly kind. You can just feel how everyone is here for the wellbeing of the animals and you'll meet the most incredible, likeminded friends here 🫶🏻!! The shelter itself is special as well. The dogs (and cats) are really taken care of while still having the freedom of really being a dog and playing in big groups in the parks throughout the day. Everything about Ara is perfect, thank you for this time!

It was an amazing experience!!! I felt immediately at ease with other volunteers and staff. I loved working and cuddling with all the dogs and cats and walking in nature. I recommend it to everyone and can't wait to return to ARA!!!

I really enjoyed my time at ARA! The Team was super nice, open about the tasks from the beginning and always ready to help if you needed them. As a cat person I got to learn a lot about dogs & their behaviors. I already miss them so so much🥹 Would definitely recommend to volunteer at ARA if you love animals & being outside. Thank you guys for the great time I had at the shelter and for the amazing work you do every day🐾❤️

We had the best experience at ARA. The team and other volunteers are so kind and welcoming which helps finding your way in the job. Everyone takes such good care of the animals, their comfort and wellbeing always comes first. The shifts you work are well arranged so it's a great balance of working and having free time. In your free time you have a lot of possibilities to go outside our spend more time with the dogs. We can't wait to come back to this beautiful place. It truly is a home away from home.

I had an amazing time at ara. The work with the dogs was so much fun and really interesting. Everything was well organised and i met some of the nicest people there. The staff was also really lovely and helpfull! I will definetely come back!

This was my second time volunteering at ARA, and it was incredible like last time. I love the staff as it is clear they want to help the animals at the shelter but I also love the environment that ARA creates for each of its animals. I definitely plan on returning again soon, but with the dogs I adopted from them this past visit

ARA is simply fantastic! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, which makes the whole experience very pleasant. The animals are in excellent condition and are lovingly cared for, which is immediately noticeable. You easily make great friendships, as the atmosphere is so warm and inviting. It's a place where you immediately feel comfortable and time flies by. I highly recommend ARA - a visit is definitely worthwhile!
