I spent three and a half weeks volunteering at the shelter, and I had such a wonderful time! You can tell that everyone truly cares about the animals and puts a lot of heart into their work. I learned a lot, met lovely people, and would definitely come back again!

I'm really grateful for my first volunteer experience abroad at ARA. It's a special place, and I loved every moment with the dogs and cats, from quiet cuddles to playful chaos. Truly the most amazing and fulfilling experience! ARA does such an incredible job caring for these animals, you can really see the love and dedication in everything they do. Volunteering here opened my eyes to the amount of effort and compassion that goes into rescuing and rehabilitating dogs in need and I'm so grateful to have been a part of it all. If you're thinking about volunteering or adopting, I can't recommend ARA enough. This place is really special :)

ARA is a great shelter. Everytime I am there, I meet new people and with that even new friendships. The Team is amazing as well. You can see how passionate and loving they are towards the animals and how serious they take their work. It's always sad to leave, not only because You are leaving all the precious animals behind, but also because it's such a fullfilling workplace. At the End I can just say: remember that this is not only cuddling and a cheap vacation. We work as a team to help provide a nice stay for the dogs/cats. :)
