It was my first time at ARA and I knew from the very first day, I'm definitely coming back again!! From the beginning I felt very welcomed from the staff and the other volunteers. All of them are so heartwarming nice and lovely to everyone and the animals. You can feel how loved and well-treated the cats and dogs are and how everyone cares for their well-being. The “work” ain't work at all and it's more fun and relaxing than anything else:) I connected with so friendly people and we had a very nice time 😊 I am definitely recommending ARA to everyone!!:)

Volunteering at ARA was one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had. From day one, I felt welcomed by the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, and the amazing group of volunteers. The facility itself is neatly maintained. The dogs are so well cared for, ARA is truly a place where they are safe, loved, and given the best chance for a better life. This was my second time here at ARA. I cannot reccomend this place enough. This place is so special to me, spending time socialising, walking and training all these animals is so rewarding and more importantly so great for the animals in preparation for adoption. I will continue to come to ARA as often as I can. I felt truly comfortable and welcomed there and everyone was so kind and had such big hearts. The staff were always approachable and supportive, and we all had a wonderful time together. Helping the dogs and giving them love and attention never felt like work to me because I did it with joy. Mia was a wonderful addition to the volunteer team during her two weeks at the shelter.Despite the short time, she made a big difference through her kindness, enthusiasm & hardwork.Mia quickly adapted to the daily routines and showed care for both the dogs and cats.She was attentive to each animal’s needs,gentle with the shy ones, and playful with those full of energy.Her positive attitude& willingness to help with any task—whether cleaning, or spending one-on-one time was highly appreciated
