Mi experiencia en ARA fue muy buena. Dudo que pueda agregar mucho más de lo que dicen todas las reseñas previas, pero sí afirmar que cumple con la expectativa. El trabajo realizaado allí es muy bueno, las instalaciones para los animales están muy bien diseñadas y adaptadas. Se está atento al bienestar de ellos y se busca socializarlos y conseguirles una familia. El ambiente de trabajo es muy bueno, el staff y los voluntarios que me encontré allí en general tienen todos muy buena energía y ganas de colaborar en un proyecto tan importante. Definitivamente recomendable y espero algun día volver!!

Segunda vez que vuelvo y no puedo irme más encantada. Desde 2019 que estuve he visto muchos cambios y mejoras, como siempre es un placer poder ayudar a todos los animales del refugio y conocer a personas de otras partes del mundo con el mismo interés. Espero volver una tercera vez.

Sara stayed with us for two weeks in our shelter, and we were truly happy to welcome her back after her stay last summer. Her return during the New Year’s Eve period, when we have fewer volunteers, was especially appreciated. She is always willing to help, even on her days off, and approaches every task with kindness, dedication, and responsibility. Sara spent a lot of time with Brutus and formed a strong and positive bond with him. We are very grateful for her support and would have her back!

And again I just had the best time of my life! Ara is really a place that heals the soul. The animals are so lovely and I already miss them all so much. The stuff really cares for the volunteers and is doing the best for the animals. Everything ist with so much love and it makes so much fun to work at Ara. I am already looking forward to hopefully come back soon! The accommodations are really nice and the area looks really beautiful. Thank you for having me!! :)) I really miss this place already!

Alina stayed with us for two weeks as a volunteer at our dog and cat shelter, once again proving what an exceptional person and volunteer she is. She has been with us many times, and every stay reinforces how reliable, caring, and dedicated she is. This time, she came especially to help during the Christmas and New Year’s Eve period, which is a demanding time, and her support made a real difference. She also has a special bond with two of our dogs, Mayra and Bordalo, who trust and adore her!

Would highly recommend volunteering at the shelter! An incredible organisation whos number one priority is the quality of life of the animals. They also take very good care of the volunteers and the work is very reasonable. I would love to come back in the future.

Ricarda spent two wonderful weeks with us over Christmas and New Year’s Eve, and once again she reminded us why we always love having her here. This was already her third stay this year, and her commitment means so much to our entire shelter. Ricarda is a truly dedicated and compassionate volunteer, always generous with her time and energy. She gave special attention to Tuna, one of our most difficult and lonely dogs. We are incredibly grateful!

It was my first the shelter volunteer experience. I'm sure that it's not my last after spending two weeks here full of love and joy. The shelter is well maintained and managed - clean, spacious, controlled. I highly rate the staffs. They are so nice and professional. Volunteers get proper balance of duty/free time to ourselves. Last but not least, I have made miracle encounters with so many doggies and cats. I hope I will get to know more new fur friends than the familiar faces when I return - they all deserve a forever home!

Nova volunteered with us during the Christmas period and was truly responsible and dedicated. She completed every task with great care, keeping all areas perfectly clean and well organized. Nova consistently went above and beyond by spending extra time on additional walks, ensuring the animals received more attention and enrichment. She also took wonderful care of our kittens, showing patience, gentleness, and genuine affection.We are very thankful for her time with us!
