ARA is simply fantastic! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, which makes the whole experience very pleasant. The animals are in excellent condition and are lovingly cared for, which is immediately noticeable. You easily make great friendships, as the atmosphere is so warm and inviting. It's a place where you immediately feel comfortable and time flies by. I highly recommend ARA - a visit is definitely worthwhile!

The Best Place on Earth – the shelter! Volunteering at the shelter has been the best experience of my life. I've been there five times already, and every visit makes me want to come back again. The team is incredibly kind, supportive, and passionate about the shelter welfare. The animals are loved, well cared for, and each has their own story. I volunteered at ARA for the third time now and enjoyed it -as always - to its fullest. The staff is very carying (towards the animals as well as towards the volunteers). The animals there enjoy the best treatment you could imagine for a shelter: It is taken care of good health, they spend much time with other dogs during the day and play in many different big and lovely built dog parks. I am very thankful for this place and having the opportunity to be part of it. Hope to come back soon.
