This was a fantastic first Worldpackers experience. Lewis and Angel are amusing and obliging hosts - a delight to work for. The accommodation is very comfortable and the work is straightforward. I would recommend this experience specifically to people who like hiking and being outside. There's a lot of down time and Kinlochleven is a small village (with an impressive 3 pubs!). Lewis is always quick with advice and suggestions of where to go in the myriad of picturesque walks nearby. Thank you very much for having me - I really enjoyed it!

We felt really at home in the the guest house. It's perfect for travelling with a friend or as a couple, and the scenery around Kinlochleven is very beautiful and calming. I would totally recommend this experience to someone, because Lewis thought about us a lot when coordinating our working days and we had plenty of time to explore Scotland, just how we wanted. It's been a pleasure.

Lewis is a great boss - super chill and easy to talk to and very respectful about working hours. The accommodation is great, you'll have lots of privacy in your own room and a cozy living room to spend time with other volunteers. Hiking is pretty much the only thing you can do in the area and there are beautiful trails right near the the guest house! There is not too much interaction with the hosts though and you're gonna be on your own most of the time – so I'd recommend the experience if you don't mind spending time alone, enjoy hiking or maybe use the place as a base for different trips :)

Our experience here was great! Lewis and Angel are lovely people and the flat that you stay in a nice cozy little space. The work is quite easy, it's organised when you get there what days you are working which was super helpful to know in advance. Kinlochleven however is a very small town, there is plenty of hiking around the area and it is absolutely beautiful, but if hiking and being outside isn't your thing you might get a bit bored. I personally didn't do many hikes but Lewis has a heaps of puzzles and games and things to keep me occupied so that was awesome.

We had a very cosy apartment to live in above the bed and breakfast, shared with Lewis and angel but they usually used the downstairs areas. Tasks were easy and well communicated, shift times were printed in advance around our schedules so very professional and considerate. It is a small town so food, and getting there is expensive and long. However would definitely recommend if you love hiking as absolutely beautiful area.

A 10 out of 10 experience! I'd definitely go back if there is a chance and would recommend it to anyone who loves nature. The work is simple and exactly as described. The room and the common area are very cosy. Kinlochleven, Glencoe and the surrounding areas are stunningly beautiful, people there are extremely nice as well. The host, Lewis is very friendly and a great cook! Thanks for everything Lewis, Angel and Michelle!

Had the best time in Kinlochleven! Lewis was the best host, a great cook and an amazing friend to have during my stay and will help with anything and everything. The flat is very cosy and I had plenty of free time to go hiking. Thank you Lewis for a great time, amazing craft beers and for letting me win in backgammon and monopoly :)

I had an amazing experience volunteering at the the guest house. The work including serving breakfast, cleaning rooms, making beds and doing reception was simple. Although Kinlochleven is a small village, the nature surrounding it is stunningly beautiful and there are a lot of hikes to do as well. You also get enough free time to visit places nearby such as Glencoe, Fort William and Inverness. Lewis was a great host and he has great recommendations for hikes and places to visit. The flat and the private room are very cozy, perfect for staying inside with a book and a cup of coffee on rainy days.
