My time spent at the the guest house was amazing! Lewis is a very welcoming host and fun person to be around. The hours and tasks are exactly as described. The bedroom is private and very cozy. If you enjoy walking, this is a perfect place to visit! I was able to da lot of peaks and beautiful walks just from the village. I would definitely go back!

I had an incredible experience at the the guest house. the the guest house and flat is so clean and cosy, it was amazing to have my own space after being in a hostel for a few weeks. I loved exploring the area of Glencoe, there are so many hiking routes and beautiful things to see. There were no other volunteers during my time there, but I didn't mind at all as there is so much to do in the local area. Lewis was a pleasure to be with, he made me feel very welcome and even cooked some incredible meals! I highly recommend choosing the the guest house for exploring the beauty of the Scottish Highlands.

We agreed to working 7:30-11:30, 4 days a week. Most days the work took less time than that. And after that I had the rest of the day free. He gave me a good deal of suggestions on where to go and what to do with my free time when i asked and respected my work hours. Also he's a very good cook. The meals he made were amazing!

Really good experience, the accom is the flat on the top floor of the the guest house which has a comfy living room and kitchen, 10/10. Just 4-5 hours a day doing a mix of serving breakfast, cleaning bathrooms, making the beds and cleaning the bedrooms and doing check-ins. Lewis was a great host but his gf was away when I was there, definitely double check if she will be or if another volunteer is staying the same time as you, I might not have gone if no-one else was there just for safety reasons. Other than that def recommend, the hikes were incredible !

I had a lovely stay at the the guest house in Kinlochleven. Lewis was a great host, very friendly and welcoming. The work was easy, waitressing, cleaning, check ins. I also met a few other Worldpackers from Israel, Finland and America. I would recommend this experience to anyone with a passion for the outdoors and seeking adventure. Thank you again for a wonderful start to my travels!

The the guest house was the most rewarding volunteer experience I've ever had. Because Lewis and Michelle are such wonderful individuals, I enjoyed every activity I did there. Because we've shared discussions, lunches, and dinners, Lewis is the best boss I've ever had. In addition, each activity was well-explained, and the entire environment is quite pleasant. I value the time I spent there since I was able to complete my volunteer work and do other things such as working remotely and studying. In addition, I had the pleasure of meeting Lewis's family, which was a lovely experience. Thanks a lot! :)

I had a wonderful time at the the guest house and would 100% recommend this stay to anyone wanting to immerse themselves in Scottish nature. You'll have plenty of time to explore the area, do some hikes along the West Highland Way, swim in the nearby river and relax in the evenings. The work isn't strenuous and I found it really fun - having never worked as a waitress before, serving breakfast and chatting to all the guests was a big highlight for me. Lewis is a great host - very laidback and friendly. He's also an amazing cook and has the best cookbook collection I've ever seen!
