Our timeat the guest house Cheonwas great! We had a lot of freetime to explore the region and the task were really easy. Would definetly recommend if you enjoy hiking and being in the nature!

Our stay in Kinlochleven was great. The work is super manageable and quick to pick up and Lewis is a great host who will make you feel at home. The apartment is really cosy and comfortable with good cooking facilities and a nice private room (with a great view)! There's heaps to explore in town and the surrounding hills, as well as fairly frequent and accessible buses to travel throughout the area, like to Glencoe and Fort William. I would recommend this experience to anyone

I had a fantastic experience with Lewis at the the guest house! The work was straightforward, schedule was clear, and I was trained well. I was given plenty of flexibility to explore the area and get some fantastic hiking in- Kinlochleven as well as the neighboring town Glencoe have some incredible trails. Lewis is a fantastic cook and made dinner for all the volunteers a couple of nights which was extremely kind. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I'd highly recommend.

Would recommend to any nature lovers! Kinlochleven is a beautiful little place surrounded by walks and hikes. Lewis always respects working hours, gives recommendations, and is a great host. There's loads to do in the area and a bus route that comes through multiple times a day.

My time at the the guest house is something I will never forget! Kinlochleven is a quiet, safe, and absolutely stunning place to hike around by yourself/other volunteers/Lewis. Lewis made me feel right at home, and I appreciated the mutual trust we had as strangers who became friends over my stay. The work was easy, and you get into a good routine with it, while still having time to explore the surrounding area. I took the bus to Glencoe quite a bit - I just couldn't get enough of the highland cows there! I became great friends with other volunteers here and will miss them dearly!

I truly loved my time here! The work was very reasonable and views in every direction are breath taking. Lewis is such a kind soul that gets along with absolutely everyone. You couldn't ask for a better host. Will definitely be coming back!

I had a lovely experience volunteering, the tasks are well structured & ordered. Luis was an excellent host, we played lots of games/hiked/laughed. The room had a beautiful view of the mountains. I'm grateful for my time spent here and for the lovely people I got to meet! I'd recommend to anyone looking for a slow nature getaway!

The time I spent here at the the guest house was extraordinary. Lewis is an amazing person and we got along so well. We went on some hikes together with anothe volunteer and he showed and told us about history and landmarks in this area. Work was definitely manageable and you have a good amount of freetime where you can just roam around the surrounding hills/mountains or chill in your cozy little room with a great view of said mountains. Kinlochleven and my time here will have a special place in my heart. 🫶🏻
