Lewis is a spectacular person, very accommodating and kind. I had an an amazing stay, would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Highlands. Everyone is extremely helpful and respectful at the the guest house and also all the locals in Kinlochleven.

An excellent spot to explore the highlands and the surrounding towns. Hours are agreed upon and work is easy and enjoyable! The hosts are nothing but lovely and welcoming, I would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to visit the Scottish highlands and get back to nature :)

I loved this experience! This was my first World Packers experience, and I would totally recommend it. Lewis and Angel are so sweet and considerate of us, and I really enjoyed our interactions with them. Kinlochleven is such a beautiful place to stay if you want to be in nature and want to be remote. Totally recommend staying here:)

I generally enjoyed my stay here. The area is gorgeous, and the volunteer quarters are nice, clean, and well-equipped. The instructions are clear and fairly easy to follow. Lewis was happy to answer any questions I had. I would recommend coming here only if you enjoy having your own space. You have plenty of time off, and they pretty much leave you alone. It seemed to me that they get so many volunteers that they've become a little jaded and tend to keep to themselves, without making much effort to get to know you. Overall, I'd recommend volunteering here—just be aware that it's quite solitary

Lewis was a respectful and friendly host, his girlfriend much less friendly but still quite respectful. The location is wonderfully beautiful if you love getting in touch with nature and hiking :)! You get your own room and a common kitchen to share with the other volunteer but the facilities were quite dirty when I got there. There is a dairy 5mins away to buy your groceries. The bus takes you to places approx. every 2 hours, it is a bit pricy. The timetable is very convenient for backpacking around for a few days and the shifts are fair and rather short :) Thank you Lewis for your time! :)

Volunteering here was good! The tasks were easy and Lewis was available to answer any questions during working hours. We had shifts 9am-12pm making up the rooms after guests checked out, or a shift 2pm-9pm checking guests in as they arrived. Kinlochleven is a cute town with a few very nice hikes. There is a bus to Fort William, but be sure to check when it comes, it is not often! Public transport makes getting around outside of Kinlochleven difficult, but on days you dont have shifts its worth it to get up early and explore elsewhere. Kitchen was for volunteer use. Make sure to ask questions!

I really enjoyed my three weeks volunteering for Lewis and Angel in Kinlochleven. The volunteer work is simple and the host's instructions were clear and easy to follow. The work consisted of housekeeping and checking in guests. My stay with Lewis and Angel gave me the opportunity to explore the Scottish Highlands, it truly is so beautiful there. I felt comfortable during my stay and would recommend this experience to future guests! Thank you again Lewis and Angel :)

This volunteer experience was one with amazing views everywhere you turned. The mountains of Glencoe and Kinlochleven were ones I'll never forget! The work was easy and short, we were able to go due local hikes afterwords. The days off were for exploring further away, as local transport was long but got you to a couple of places. I enjoyed my short time here :)

Work was 3 days a week, on two of those days you'd typically work around 3 hours. One day a week is 9 hours, 3h cleaning, and 6h check in (which is honestly rather 1h of work and 5h of sitting around)
