We had a very cosy apartment to live in above the bed and breakfast, shared with Lewis and angel but they usually used the downstairs areas. Tasks were easy and well communicated, shift times were printed in advance around our schedules so very professional and considerate. It is a small town so food, and getting there is expensive and long. However would definitely recommend if you love hiking as absolutely beautiful area.

A 10 out of 10 experience! I'd definitely go back if there is a chance and would recommend it to anyone who loves nature. The work is simple and exactly as described. The room and the common area are very cosy. Kinlochleven, Glencoe and the surrounding areas are stunningly beautiful, people there are extremely nice as well. The host, Lewis is very friendly and a great cook! Thanks for everything Lewis, Angel and Michelle!

Had the best time in Kinlochleven! Lewis was the best host, a great cook and an amazing friend to have during my stay and will help with anything and everything. The flat is very cosy and I had plenty of free time to go hiking. Thank you Lewis for a great time, amazing craft beers and for letting me win in backgammon and monopoly :)

I had an amazing experience volunteering at the the guest house. The work including serving breakfast, cleaning rooms, making beds and doing reception was simple. Although Kinlochleven is a small village, the nature surrounding it is stunningly beautiful and there are a lot of hikes to do as well. You also get enough free time to visit places nearby such as Glencoe, Fort William and Inverness. Lewis was a great host and he has great recommendations for hikes and places to visit. The flat and the private room are very cozy, perfect for staying inside with a book and a cup of coffee on rainy days.

Thigh the guest house is the ideal place to volunteer if you're looking to explore & be at the heart of the Highlands. The job is very simple, straightforward and you always finish earlier so you get an excessive of free time to travel a looot, hike or just stay in the flat which is amazingly cozy, well equipped and welcoming. You'll get plenty of privacy! The host, Lewis, is extraordinarily kind and nice. He enjoys cooking and is always up for cooking dinner & try different world's recipes to have with volunteers. He's done many hikes around here and will give you the best ones to do! You'll love it!

It has been a very good experience, we have met people, travelled and learned a lot. The work was simple and very few working hours, the place to sleep very comfortable. In short, an experience to repeat.

It was an amazing experience staying at the the guest house! Everything was perfect, the shifts were organized from the first day, we had a complete kitchen just for us and our bedroom was really cozy and clean. The work is not hard at all and it is really easy to do, serving breakfasts, cleaning and checking in guests in the afternoon. We had lots of free time during our stay and we were able to visit different places nearby, such as Fort William or Inverness and did amazing hiking routes that Lewis showed us and even did with us. He has treated us the best way possible, we would definitely go back
