The mix of this hostel and Edinburgh will make you want to stay! I stayed for 3 weeks and it felt like such a magical place and the hours which you need to complete are little to none. Everyone is friendly and the hostel is such a cosy and central place in Edinburgh. I would recommend staying longer than I did to really feel included in the family that is built there and to experience doing everything in Edinburgh and the surrounding parts of Scotland. Thank you RMB!! Will be coming back!!

RMB was such a cute little place I adorrrreddd itttt. I went in the down season so it was a little quieter then usual but still such a cozy vibe. Work wise its super, super easy, but I encourage people to get trained in all areas so you're able to get more days off. The hosts are awesome and very flexible, will very much miss it and wish I was able to stay longer so as to experience everything. Until next time Xxx

I had the best time in RMB hostel! I stayed there for a month but it wasn't enough at all. Hostel itself is very small and cozy and it was too easy to make friends and create a sense of family environment that we did. Location of the hostel is perfect, super close to city centre/castle/bus station. Work and working hours were more than manageble and respected. I enjoyed being involved in organizing events for guests and making my working hours that way. You will never be bored or lonely if you are gonna come to Edinburgh to volunteer for the hostel! Thank you for everything!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I'm so glad that it was at RMB! I only stayed for 3 weeks but I had the best time and absolutely loved Edinburgh. The work is fair and quite easy, only 2 hours per day. Kat and Becca also are quite flexible with the hours and allow you to contribute by running events or helping with reception shifts if you want to get more days off. Would highly recommend as a first time volunteering experience!

On my first day at the hostel I already felt apart of a family :) kat and becca made it feel like more than a workplace for me, it was my home. The work is quite easy, and fun when you're with all your friends doing it. I'm so grateful for my time at RMB ❤️

The hostel is an amazing volunteering experience. The hostel is welcoming and feels so supportive and friendly- it feels like home away from home. It's also common for volunteers to socialise and hang out together outside of working hours which is super nice. You get to meet so many travellers who become your family. The hours and work are easy and fair and its only 12 hours which is the perfect amount. You also will get the opportunity to host pub crawls, events and dinners and meet and interact with guests. I highly recommend this experience- one which you can't forget!

It was my first experience with Worldpackers, and it was a great one. My volunteer stay at the the hostel was wonderful. Jade, Kat, Becca the managers, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The hostel's small size and close-knit community of volunteers created a cozy atmosphere that you feel comfortable coming back to after a day exploring either with others or solo. I had opportunity to explore Scotland and know the city in a meaningful way. I highly recommend the the hostel. Thank you Jade, Kat, Becca & the whole team.

RMB is a great place to stay as a volunteer. All the people are wonderful, the volunteers and staff feel like a family. The hostel is small and cozy and makes everything feel like a home away from home. The location is amazing and there is always something to do, the hostel offers events every day of the week which is honestly the most fun part. Even the work is very fair and easy to do and most of the times you can have fun while working. The managers da great job at making RMB the best possible place to stay at, for guests and volunteers. Everything was perfect and I'll miss my time here!

RMB is a very special place to live at - even though it is centred on the busiest street in Edinburgh it still feels very cozy, safe and homey. My time there was the most fun I've ever had and it was so easy to become part of the community there because everyone is so welcoming and including. Even though the volunteers changed every few weeks it always felt like being part of a big family and Kat and Jade as the managers created a wonderful environment that makes this possible. There are also lots of great opportunities to go out but it's equally as fun to stay in. All shifts are easy and fair
