This was my first time volunteering and I'm so glad that this has been my first experience. RMB is like a home away from home with a cosy, safe, inclusive and friendly environment. The work was light and fair. I really enjoyed the activities on every night and loved how Kat and Jade would often join these and sometimes hang out with us volunteers. Overall had a blast and met some awesome people, definitely recommend volunteering at the hostel!

The hostel is such a special place and will always have a place in my heart. It was the best possible first time Worldpackers experience. The work is very fair and you can spend most of your day exploring the city. Jade and Kat are very helpful and understanding, going out of their way to make you feel apart of a big family. The staff dorm is lovely and the location is perfect. There are lots of activities to participate in throughout your time there.

The time I spent at the hostel was truly just absolutely amazing! Right from the start I felt so welcomed and immediately comfortable and happy since the hostel provides a really familiar and loving atmosphere. Jade and Kat are so kind and make the time there so fun for everyone while also telling you something about the history and the culture. Also, the work isn't really hard and you often finish early so there's plenty of time to explore the incredibly beautiful city :) I'm beyond grateful for the time I had there and the people I met, I definitely recommend going there!

I'm so grateful for the experience that I had at the hostel. Jade and Kat were so welcoming and created an exciting and positive atmosphere for everybody. The hours are reasonable and the expectations are clear. It was everything I could have wanted from a first WorldPackers experience.

I had an absolutely great time volunteering at RMB! The hostel is a safe space that truly feels like home, and you can see all the love and work that has been put into it to make it what it is. The work is fairly easy, and you are left with loads of time to hang out with others or explore the city. Jade and Kat are like the coolest people ever, always there for you and making sure you are having a good time. The whole crew with all the other volunteers became like a second family to me, and I am so grateful that I got to have this experience and that I got to know them all:)

RMB was my first Worldpackers experience and it was amazing! The hostel offers a lot of activities, it's cozy, the work is super easy. Kat and Jade are so lovely, you can ask them anything if you have questions about the work. After one week I was sure I wanted to extend my stay here, because it's like finding a new family here <3

The hostel has such an an amazing atmosphere. Coming back to the hostel truly felt like I was returning home to my family. Everyone is always there for you and I can only hope to have a similar experience in other hostels I visit!

I had the best time at the hostel. The volunteers, the guests and Kat and Jade were all lovely. I have made some friends for life. The work was very easy and every night there were events on which allowed lots of opportunities to meet new people. If you have the chance to volunteer here you 100% should! Thank you so much again for giving me the best experience.

I loved my time at the hostel Miles the hostel! The management team was so kind and welcoming and always caring about the volunteers. The workload is very fair, light and does not take a lot time at all which leaves you with time to explore Edinburgh. The hostel is located in the heart of Edinburgh and gives a cozy, personal atmosphere. There are events on every night, ranging from a big pub crawls and nights out to movie nights and cook ups. You will definitely get to meet very nice people from all around the world and a lovely team of volunteers. I can not recommend this hostel enough!
