Overall my time at RMB was amazing. The work was straightforward and the managers & other volunteers were very kind and lovely. The room felt homey and the hostel cute and safe:) Edinburgh is a magical city and I felt so lucky to explore it for the month I spent here. The only thing I'd say was that because a lot of the other volunteers had been there for a long time (some for 6-9+ months), there were some clearly established close friendships that made it hard to feel like I could connect or be a part of at times. But overall, the work was clear & easy, and the hostel was a nice environment.

I had a WONDERFUL time volunteering at RMB!! The work was very reasonable, the other volunteers were gems, the guests were lovely, and Kat and Jack were really kind and helpful. Even though I only stayed 3 weeks I'm really glad I chose this place to call home for that short time. There are so many fun things to do and so many events going on at the hostel, you'll never be bored. Overall 10/10 experience :))

I loved my experience here at RMB! It's a really fun environment that allows you to connect with people and be a part of a family. The hostel is really cozy and it feels like a second home to me. This hostel has sister hostels which connects you to a larger circle of volunteers and fellow travelers. The volunteer work isn't too demanding, which allows you to explore Edinburgh and the rest of Scotland in your downtime. Thank you for an amazing time :)

RMB has become my home away from home. My stay was a short 5 weeks but I have made memories here that will last a lifetime. I've fallen in love with Edinburgh and I can't wait to return.

My Experience at RMB was amazing! It is a tiny and super cozy Hostel. Everyone was very welcoming and kind. The events are so much fun. The Shifts are easy going. Kat always has an open Ear, if someone needs to talk. Overall I had an amazing time.

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel. The location simply doesn't get any better, right on the hostel!! You also have very little work hours so plenty of time to explore. I give 4 stars simply because the environment felt a bit unwelcoming, I think mostly because other volunteers had been there for a long period of time, so there were many cliques.

RMB was my first Worldpackers experience and I couldn't be more grateful that it was. These past three weeks with the RMB team has been so so lovely and I'm so thankful I got to share this experience with them. Kat and Jack are doing a fab job running the hostel and have always been super understanding with shifts, explaining tasks and generally letting us volunteers get involved/input our own ideas. Couldn't recommend this place more. Already hoping to return❤️

RMB will be my home away from home forever. I've met some of my best friends here and I decided I was extending my stay immediately. This experience in this environment will change your life I can guarantee.
