I had a great time at RMB! The location is in the perfect spot to see the whole city. I was able to go on hikes and sightseeing every day. The other volunteers were lovely and always had suggestions of things to do and see. The hours are very well organized and very flexible. I HIGHLY recommend doing one of the tours they offer at a discounted rate uo to the highlands. Hoping to be back later this year to volunteer again :)

I had a great time at the hostel. I was only there for 10 days, filling in while people were away but it was a great experience. Kat and Jack were friendly and welcoming and I really enjoyed meeting all of the other volunteers and attending the hostel events. The work was simple and not too hard. I would definitely recommend RMB to anyone.

Overall my time at RMB was amazing. The work was straightforward and the managers & other volunteers were very kind and lovely. The room felt homey and the hostel cute and safe:) Edinburgh is a magical city and I felt so lucky to explore it for the month I spent here. The only thing I'd say was that because a lot of the other volunteers had been there for a long time (some for 6-9+ months), there were some clearly established close friendships that made it hard to feel like I could connect or be a part of at times. But overall, the work was clear & easy, and the hostel was a nice environment.

I had a WONDERFUL time volunteering at RMB!! The work was very reasonable, the other volunteers were gems, the guests were lovely, and Kat and Jack were really kind and helpful. Even though I only stayed 3 weeks I'm really glad I chose this place to call home for that short time. There are so many fun things to do and so many events going on at the hostel, you'll never be bored. Overall 10/10 experience :))

I loved my experience here at RMB! It's a really fun environment that allows you to connect with people and be a part of a family. The hostel is really cozy and it feels like a second home to me. This hostel has sister hostels which connects you to a larger circle of volunteers and fellow travelers. The volunteer work isn't too demanding, which allows you to explore Edinburgh and the rest of Scotland in your downtime. Thank you for an amazing time :)

RMB has become my home away from home. My stay was a short 5 weeks but I have made memories here that will last a lifetime. I've fallen in love with Edinburgh and I can't wait to return.

My Experience at RMB was amazing! It is a tiny and super cozy Hostel. Everyone was very welcoming and kind. The events are so much fun. The Shifts are easy going. Kat always has an open Ear, if someone needs to talk. Overall I had an amazing time.
