I loved my time in Heeg so much! Luuk is an incredible and kind host, he picked us up from the station, and also went with us to other places in the Netherlands. Work was fun and you get to learn how to be a waitress. I truly enjoyed my time with the other volunteers and we made so many good memories 🤍 I can recommend 100% and hope I will be back one day :) DANKE WELL!

The host gave me the most incredible experience, in here I had the chance not only to found beautiful people, but also unimaginable places in Europe. Luuk is a great person, he is very wise, therefore he will answer all kind of questions. It was my first volunteering, and I am very grateful, I can recommend it without a shadow of doubt 🩷

This was my first Worldpackers experience. I had an amazing time in Heeg :) It is a cozy, small town. You'll have plenty of free time to look around the town and its stunning landscape. You can do day trips to other cities like Leeuwarden or Groningen. Or you can relax and spend your day on the wonderful terrace. The work is really fun and you'll get close to the other volunteers in no time. After a few days you'll feel like family :) You'll see that Luuk is really an amazing person. He is really honest ( in a good way), has a lot of charisma and a bunch of adventurous stories to tell. :)

Heeg is a really cute town with a calm vibe and it's close to many places to visit on your free time! It's a great opportunity to get to know the culture and talk to the locals. The tasks are simple and you get used to it quickly if you don't have problems with the English! Luuk is an excellent host with whom you can talk easily and hear about his adventures! He answered all my daily questions with patience and when I had an accident he didn't hesitate to help me and be considerate of my recovery. I am very grateful and i would love to comeback!! I fully recommend this experience. Doei :)!

It was one of the best experiences since I have been traveling, thanks to this position I was able to meet wonderful people, visit many places in the Netherlands, I love this country!, was working with Luuk in the kitchen, I could confirm the passion I have in this sector, Heeg is a town that is far from the city, but they will have enough time to do everything. Thank you Luuk for the trust and sharing all this time! If you have the opportunity to apply to this position, it is 1000% recommended

That volunteering was one of the best I could have done, I really enjoyed the work and the environment in the restaurant was so good. Luuk is really kind and funny, in general you have a lot of freedom and free time there. Even though Heeg is a small town, you can go and visit so many places, specially in your days off. I learned a lot and I really hope I can go back at some point because I miss it

This was my second experience like volunteering and was amazing. The atmosphere is fantastic, environment the well friendly, everybody help in the chores like if were a family! Luuk always patient and correct. Get explain every activities in the restaurant. Relationship in the team keep the a 'weather' friendship fantastic. Heeg is small city but easy access another city by bus, train and bicycle with excellent bike lane. The weather in august ias nice, sometimes rain but every week is possibly day sunny. Anyway I like everything, better experience and wait back again! Thank you Luuk!

This was one of the best volunteering experiences I've had so far. I loved working at this restaurant. The tasks weren't difficult; after practicing for a few days, it becomes automatic. I had a complete immersion, living a bit of Dutch culture. The customers would always ask where I was from, and that was really cool. Luuk is an incredible human being, kind-hearted, always in good humor, and available to help clear all doubts. I had great moments with the other volunteers. Thank you very much, everyone! Heeg is a very cozy and beautiful town. I definitely recommend it to everyone!

As my first volunteering I couldn't ask for a better place than here. It's an amazing restaurant. The work is really chill and you have the chance to met the customers. Luuk is a great chef, an amazing boss with the best sense of humor and he is always willing to help you. His hospitality made my experience here better than I expected. He makes sure that everyone's feels comfortable and cozy and Heeg is a beautiful small town with a lot of nature. I'm so happy to have chosen this volunteering and making good friends from different countries. Facts and periodt! Thanks for everything.

This was my first time volunteering and it couldn't have been better, I met amazing people. Heeg is a very nice place, full of nature and very quiet. I really enjoyed working in the restaurant, the people were always very nice and the tasks were not difficult. Luuk is a very kind, flexible and kind-hearted person, by the way he cooks amazing food, I loved the food, especially the baked potatoes. On my days off I used to travel with the other volunteers who were also very nice people. I highly recommend this volunteering, I hope to come back one day, I will miss everyone and everything. FACTS!
