This was my firts Volunteer, I spent 4 weeks at De Notarias and I had a well time. Heeg is a small town but lovely, and the people was very friendly, I loved that. Also, Luuk was very friendly and a great person. He cooked very good and delicius food for dinner. I was also lucky to be with the other volunteers, They were wonderful people, and we had so much fun together. The work was very easy going and simple, and allows you to talk a lot with the customers. I would definitely recommend this experience.

I spent 3 weeks at the host and I had a really good time. Heeg is a small town but it's lovely, and the people are super friendly. Also, Luuk is a great person and it was nice spending time there. I was also lucky to be with the other volunteers, who are amazing, and we had so much fun together. The work is simple and allows you to talk a lot with the customers. I would definitely recommend this experience!

I'm truly grateful for this wonderful experience. Lukke was fair and made sure everyone felt included and satisfied. He was always open to hearing everyone's perspective, encouraged clear communication, and was flexible with adjustments when we reached a consensus. Wonderful experience, the city is small but equipped. Luuk is a great host and a very good cook. The schedules and meals are respected. I would recommend this experience to everyone also to meet other volunteers from all over the world. Thank you all for the experience and I hope to come back one day

This first volunteer exsperience has been really meaningful to me. The small village, full of services, was wonderful and really peaceful, connected by public transport to other bigger places. It was also possible use the bike offered by the host. The host , Luuk, has been really kind and respectful with me and the others , he always checked if everything was okay and has been helpful in every situation. The work as waitress was very simple and challenging , especially for connect with people from Netherlands and improve english.

It was the best experience I could have ever imagined. Luuk is kind and friendly. I really enjoyed time spent there. I met amazing people and had so much fun. The customers were really opened to speak english. So you don't have to be afraid of it, even when you are not that confident in english. I truly recommend this experience to everyone.

I came back to this place as an emergency call after a very bad Worldpackers experience in Germany. I had already worked with Luuk last summer, and I knew I would be safe working in Heeg until I continued my journey. As expected, he didn't disappoint. Not only did I have a lot of fun here, but I also felt welcomed and learned a lot about waitressing (last year I did mainly kitchen work). 100% recommended, I have nothing but warm feelings towards this place. Thanks Luuk for making everything so easy and fun. I will always remember the host and the way you made Heeg feel like home.

I had an amazing time at the host with Luuk. Heeg is a beautiful little town with plenty of nature to explore and enjoy. Public transport is easily accessible and Luuk has bikes to use for any adventures outside of Heeg. The job is similar to any other kitchen/serving job, and Luuk was happy to answer any questions I had and was always very helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better first volunteer experience, and definitely recommend it to anyone that is considering applying!
