The experience

This volunteering is intended to equip better our staff with the skills to handle a range of office management responsibilities including organizing, managing, and coordinating the office and the workplace environment. Volunteers will be training our team for capacity building especially office administration. They will be also monitoring our activities and make changes if possible to make sure that our work is improved.


What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate French

Between 18 and 65 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Join us in our mission to enhance office management capabilities through our Office Management Volunteering Program. This initiative aims to equip our staff with essential skills in organizing, managing, and coordinating the workplace environment. Volunteers will play a vital role in training our team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring our operations run smoothly.


Activities & Shift

- Conduct interactive workshops on key topics such as time management, effective communication, and organizational skills.
- Develop and deliver specialized training sessions on software tools and applications commonly used in office management.
- Observe daily office operations and identify areas for improvement.
- Partner with staff to design and implement new organizational systems, such as filing systems, scheduling tools, or project management frameworks.
- Create training materials, guides, and reference documents that staff can use for ongoing learning and support.
- Compile a report summarizing activities, outcomes, and recommendations for future training initiatives.
* First shift: Morning from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. Second shift: Afternoon from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
