The hostel was amazing! Probably my favorite volunteer so far. The hostel was great and Zagreb is pretty. The job was easy and working at the bar was fun! I looooved everyone working there💕💕 and hopefully I'll be back to visit soon. I recommend for sure, it was a great experience :)

The experience and the host are amazing! Is one of the coolest places in the city centre of Zagreb. The job is not complicated and also they don't throw you to the sharks, they teach you how to do it little by little. On top of that, you the hostel in a team dorm and you have food supplies every week. Special regards to all of the team in the bar and the reception that make your the hostel wonderful!

The hostel Mint was an amazing experience! All of the staff were very friendly, organized, and hardworking. I learned a lot about the Croatian culture and got to practice some of the language. Zagreb is a very historic city with a lot to offer and the hostel is right in the heart of downtown. I would highly recommend anyone to work with the hostel or just visit their stylish bar for a drink. Hvala svima puno to Stella, Tiago, Maja, Ogie, Vida and the whole staff for inviting me! It was a great experience! 😃

There isn't enough space here to tell you just how much i loved my time at the hostel. Stela, Tiago, Dimitri, Nathaly, Ivor are just absolutely WONDERFUL. i will always remember the amazing memories i made here. can't wait to come back and create more! work is fair and hours are flexible so you can take trips to other cities. basics like milk, rice, pasta are provided. swankita the cat is my little angel and likes to sleep in the room at night. central location in the city too. love you guys!!

I had a very good experience cooperating with the housekeeping and breakfast team, they taught me the tasks with great patience and always with good energy, it was a pleasure to collaborate with Ana and Theresa. I also want to acknowledge the kindness of the girls at reception who helped us with everything, they always made me feel welcome, thank you Mihaela, Zoe, Lucija. The hostel is in a great location to discover the city and to enjoy the parks around. It is a very energetic city with very friendly people.

It was a good experience, the workers are really nice, and the job is easy, basically making beds, the communication with management is good. I think is a good place to meet new people, and the workers help me a lot and showed me the city. The room is shared with one of the owners, the workers and the volunteers. The city is really nice with lot of bars and restaurants, but I wouldn't say it has lot of things to see. I would recommend the hostel if what your looking for is meet people, I met some really good friends,and enjoyed my time at the hostel mint.

Overall, I really enjoyed my time in Zagreb. I met some really great people at the hostel and had a lot of fun hanging out in the city. Keep in mind that Zagreb is not a big city, but it's clean, walkable, and has some great parks, restaurants, and bars. the volunteer dorm isn't the best. I had a very thin mattress, a messy roommate, and a gross bathroom. Id say living in the volunteer dorm is DOABLE, but not comfortable. The position says 5 hrs of work for 5 days, but i worked 7-9 hrs 5 days a week. In the end I'm very happy I came to the hostel. I made really good friends and had a lot of fun in Zag

Unfortunately, despite a friendly staff and basic provisions, I can't recommend this position. Working behind the bar mainly involved boring tasks like filling water glasses and handling the dishwasher. Despite my requests to learn new tasks for efficiency, I was not given the opportunity, even during slow periods. Also, being in a room with five other men made me feel uncomfortable. Communication with the bar manager was challenging, as he was often unresponsive. When I inquired about taking scheduled days off, I received a dismissive response, ultimately leading to early departure.
