It was a good experience without a doubt, in a special way because it was my first time travelling alone and staying away from home for so long, but I never felt alone. I volunteered to work in the bar, but ended up doing some breakfast shifts as well. In both places the work is easy and the adaptation is quick. One thing I'd like to emphasise is that the reception team is very friendly, integrates you, cares about you and is always willing to help you with whatever you need.

I had an amazing time at the hostel! Working at the bar, night shifts can go longer than 5 hours and weekends are very high-paced but the mornings are calmer and give you more time to connect with guests. Tasks entail helping with dishes and filling water but if you work hard and take initiative, there is also room to learn more - service, making drinks, latte art, etc. The hostel is located in the heart of Zagreb, making walking around or exploring every day easy! I highly recommend working at the hostel for the unbeatable vibes, amazing staff and volunteers, and the opportunity to learn! Hvala! 💛

The bar is really busy so that's make the job fun and easy. The staff is super nice and always willing to help you if you need something or if you just wanna know the coolest places around. The city is pretty nice too and safe. I enjoyed my nocturnal walks every night. If you wanna have a chill time, meet people, go for a beer and taste good cocktails the hostel is for you. Thanks for everything guys!

He disfrutado mucho mi estancia en the hostel,el equipo me ha tratado bien en todo momento y siempre me ayudaron en cualquier duda que surgía con mis tareas a realizar. Las actividades han sido claras y la comunicación siempre fluye bien, además de mi experiencia como voluntaria tmb en el hostal conocí a más viajeros y es fácil recorrer la ciudad, the hostel está en el centro de la ciudad por lo que siempre Encontrarás algo que hacer muy cerca, fue una linda experiencia que volvería a repetir, gracias por todo al team de the hostel (:

The hostel was amazing! Probably my favorite volunteer so far. The hostel was great and Zagreb is pretty. The job was easy and working at the bar was fun! I looooved everyone working there💕💕 and hopefully I'll be back to visit soon. I recommend for sure, it was a great experience :)

Conocí grandes personas en este lugar, amables, simpáticos que te hacen una estadía amena y asi disfrutas aún más. Siempre respetaron lo acordado, y en caso de una situación particular son flexibles y comprensibles. Me llevo buenos recuerdos del hostel y del personal junto al resto de los voluntarios.

The experience and the host are amazing! Is one of the coolest places in the city centre of Zagreb. The job is not complicated and also they don't throw you to the sharks, they teach you how to do it little by little. On top of that, you the hostel in a team dorm and you have food supplies every week. Special regards to all of the team in the bar and the reception that make your the hostel wonderful!

The hostel Mint was an amazing experience! All of the staff were very friendly, organized, and hardworking. I learned a lot about the Croatian culture and got to practice some of the language. Zagreb is a very historic city with a lot to offer and the hostel is right in the heart of downtown. I would highly recommend anyone to work with the hostel or just visit their stylish bar for a drink. Hvala svima puno to Stella, Tiago, Maja, Ogie, Vida and the whole staff for inviting me! It was a great experience! 😃

Muy buena experiencia, en mi opionion de las mejores sino es que la mejor que he tenido en mi vida, la gente sumamente amable, muy comprensibles y hacian hasta lo imposible para que tu estadia se lo mas comoda y placentera posible. No solo los trabajadores eran muy buena onda sino que tambien los voluntarios e incluso hasta los huespedes y clientes. Mejor lugar para hacer tu voluntariado y vivir experiencias unicas e inolvidables no hay. 100% recomendado.
