Michaela and everyone were so welcoming! The work wasn't too hard and the staff and other volunteers were flexible and took into account any requests. The facilities were good and the kitchen had everything you could need. I will miss everyone (including Swankica 😻)!

My the hostel is definitely 5 stars, everything was good and as promised, I had everything and more. Really happy and grateful, I wish to come back on summer season. I learned a lot, the hostel is social but chill, after a few days you start to feel home. Probably during summer it can be busier, but for me it was amazing even during winter. Huge thanks to Mihaela, Lucija, Laura, Jerome and Theresa. And our Swankyta 🐱 I will miss her. I have few points related and not related directly to the experience that don't fit here so if you have any questions don't hesitate and reach me out!

I had great experience with the hostel, so I just extended my the hostel with them. Young team take a care about volunteers every day. I worked at bar, housekeeping and breakfast. On every position I had good experience, mostly because of team. Also, duties are simple, so you don't get a tired and you have a plenty of time for discovering city and area. All recommendations for the hostel, and thank you the hostel team for everything ♥️

I worked in housekeeping, a mix of fun and effort. The most important thing is the team. While the volunteer team changes, the permanent staff is amazing. Mihaela, your boss, is the best. She takes care of you even outside her working hours. At Christmas, she organized a great celebration. To the bosses: Mihaela deserves a raise! Despite some issues, improvements were promised. In your free time, you can explore Zagreb and other parts of Croatia, with great tips from the reception.

The hostel is a really charming place to the hostel. It felt warm and welcoming. Staff is kind and friendly. the hostel cat is a bit cranky but the loveliest thing I've met there. The volunteers room is very nice too. I would have loved to the hostel longer. Zagreb isn't the liveliest city in August, but there are many pretty places around in less than 2h away. Also if you like cute and cozy cafes this city has quite a few.

The hostel was a great experience! I had a lot of fun during my the hostel. Jerome and the whole bar team were amazing, super friendly and made every night a blast! the hostel has more of a hotel vibe than a traditional hostel, which made it a bit harder to connect with other travelers staying there. Overall, it was a memorable the hostel in a small, beautiful, and vibrant city. Plus, there are tons of cool spots just 1.5 to 2 hours away, perfect for day trips. Thanks again to everyone at the hostel!

My 6-week the hostel at the hostel was a fun and valuable time that taught me many new things. The hostel itself is situated in a nice central area which makes exploring the city very convenient and on your off days there's plenty of other cities to discover in Croatia and even outside. The reception staff, which every volunteer comes in contact a lot, is very friendly, helpful, caring and funny. The housekeeping department, which I was a part of, is very well organised and efficient and makes housekeeping duties so much easier and faster. I am grateful to the hostel for having me and see you in the future!

The staff and all the volunteers at the hostel are the most welcoming, kind and amazing people. For personal reasons I had to leave earlier than planed, but I will visit the hostel again. The hostel is in the center of the city so everything you need is very close. Work is very easy and fun. Love and miss all of you❤️

It was a good experience without a doubt, in a special way because it was my first time travelling alone and staying away from home for so long, but I never felt alone. I volunteered to work in the bar, but ended up doing some breakfast shifts as well. In both places the work is easy and the adaptation is quick. One thing I'd like to emphasise is that the reception team is very friendly, integrates you, cares about you and is always willing to help you with whatever you need.

I had an amazing time at the hostel! Working at the bar, night shifts can go longer than 5 hours and weekends are very high-paced but the mornings are calmer and give you more time to connect with guests. Tasks entail helping with dishes and filling water but if you work hard and take initiative, there is also room to learn more - service, making drinks, latte art, etc. The hostel is located in the heart of Zagreb, making walking around or exploring every day easy! I highly recommend working at the hostel for the unbeatable vibes, amazing staff and volunteers, and the opportunity to learn! Hvala! 💛
