Working at the hostel was truly an unreal experience.Not only is the hostel in a great location, has great rooms, an amazing bar and restaurant connected and overall great vibes, the best part is the staff. I've never felt so welcomed in a work environment and truly love every person I have worked with which is extremely hard to come by. I've made some very special friendships that I hope last a lifetime. As far as the work goes, the work is well explained by the staff and easy to do and allows you to have plenty of free time to explore Zagreb and neighboring cities. Couldn't recommend enough!!

Staying at the hostel was truly an amazing experience! From the very first day, the staff made me feel so welcome — they're all such kind, genuine, and incredible people. I also got along so well with the other volunteers, and it honestly felt like we were all one big family. The work was easy and fun and I especially loved working at the bar. I'm beyond grateful for the time I spent there and for everything I learned along the way. I already miss this place so much and will never forget all the wonderful people who made my time at the hostel so special. 💕

My experience in the hostel was amazing, people here are so friendly and helpful. About the tasks, those are so simple and everything is organized. The location is perfect because you are in the middle of the city. I would recommend this volunteer any doubts

I had a really great time here. The managers Zvonemir and Lucija are the absolute best. The work is really awesome, you learn a lot of new things. I would highly recommend and encourage future volunteers to engage with the people they are working with, they can teach you a lot and they are all really good people. Me and the volunteers and the people that worked at the hostel had really good relationships with each other. We did not just speak to each other on the job. the hostel definitely has more of a family vibe. All the staff that worked at the reception were also amazing and very kind!

Staying at the hostel was such a beautiful experience! The staff is honestly the best, they make you feel like part of the family from day one. The work is chill and fun, and everything is super well organized. I met so many great people and had the best time with the other volunteers. I already miss this place ❤️

This was a great experience and huge thanks to everyone! I definitely learned new things while having lots of fun during my time there. Croatian coast might have more interesting places to offer than Zagreb at least in the summer like the locals often told but as a hostel and volunteering spot this one is awesome so just go for it open minded and you'll get unforgettable experience meeting bunch of amazing people.

Volunteering at the hostel was an amazing experience. From the very beginning, I felt welcomed and supported, especially thanks to Lucija, who always made sure the volunteers were well taken care of and listened to, making every day smooth and enjoyable. The working hours are respected, which allows for a great balance between helping at the hostel and having free time to explore. Also, Zagreb is very well located, making it easy not only to discover the city itself but also to travel around the country and even visit neighboring countries. Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

As a first volunteering experience, this as been really fulfilling. I met awesome people, among the others volunteers, staff members, guests and regulars at the bar. Our accomodation was definitely cosy and allowed everyone to have their own space since it was never crowded. The work's difficulty depended on the position assigned but the tasks were still pretty easy and sometimes fun. Mihaela, the "volunteer's manager" was welcoming, curious, funny and caring, which made me feel safe during my trip.

My experience in this volunteer opportunity was very positive. The environment was pleasant from the start, and the shifts felt more like helping than actual work. The hostel provided groceries so we could cook, which was super helpful (the kitchen was well equipped). Mikahela, the volunteer coordinator, was kind and caring. The guests were friendly too. At the bar, some people were a bit reluctant to speak English, but with time, you connect with everyone. I'd love to repeat the experience someday.
