The Experience
This position focuses on coordinating camp tasks. We require you to be a proactive, service-oriented, creative person with a great love for nature. This is a program focused on nature conservation; therefore, the applicant for this job must be a person who loves nature and is able to adapt to living in a wild environment. So if you are a nature lover with a service-oriented mindset and are willing to collaborate with our program, you are welcome

- Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

I had a wonderful experience in the shelter. It's a very remote place from the city, but you can enjoy the camp and do activities with the other volunteers. The staff was very welcoming. I recommend coming here to experience the jungle.

I had a wonderful experience volunteering here! The team was super nice, I made great friends, connected with nature, saw lots of animals, and the food was DELICIOUS! The project is meaningful and not only about turtles. During my stay, there were no turtles due to beach conditions — I knew this could happen, but some volunteers didn't and felt disappointed. It would be nice to make this clearer so people come with the right expectations, because the experience is still amazing even without turtles!

I had a great time at the shelter Reserve! It is such a beautiful and tranquil place, exactly what I wanted and needed. You can spend days observing nature around you, including looking for sloths, listening to the sound of monkeys and watching them jump from one tree to another or be mesmerized by the size of crabs in the jungle! It is truly an inspirational place and Robbie is a great manager, always happy to help and share his knowledge about the place. I met so many wonderful people and had a blast contributing to the local community as well as enjoying the tranquility of the place.
