I would tell them to watch all the videos before applying to any volunteering programs, so they would know how to make a good impression, how to plan their trip, and the basic knowledge everyone should know before taking their trip, so they already know how everything works and what to do in different situations. The idea of not spending any money on a trip is great. You can also get involved socially and ecologically, and meet new people and cultures.
