Ricardo es amable y flexible con las horas. El trabajo es sencillo aunque repetitivo. El proyecto tiene mucho potencial y si deciden invertir, estructurarlo pensando en los voluntarios y en su impacto social y ambiental sería excelente. La casa es de su madre y con ella es quien más estás en contacto. Sin embargo falta comunicación entre ellos. El lugar no está adecuado para voluntarios. Las 2 camas están en la biblioteca/bodega, el internet no es bueno y no puedes hacer uso libre de lavadora ni de cocina. Como solo son 2, no hay oportunidad de conocer a otros viajeros si te quedas solo.

Es un lugar tranquilo y seguro !! Tuve una gran experiencia aprendiendo de los cultivos de frambuesa , Ricardo y su familia son muy amables y muy buenas personas ,los trabajadores de la granja son muy respetuosos !! Conocí una voluntaria de Brasil que me enseñó portugués y compartimos un tiempo maravilloso , recomiendo este lugar por qué cada día se conecta más con la naturaleza y el trabajo de las frambuesas es divertido y tranquilo !! I just finished one week at Fonde the farm and had a great experience! The tasks were clearly laid out (we mostly pruned the raspberry plants and weighed the fruit) and the hours were super fair - generally around 9 in the morning until about 2 in the afternoon. The food was very delicious and Ricardo and his mother were so welcoming! Keep in mind, the farm is located about a 40/45 minute bike ride away from the nearest beach, and public transit like buses is limited. However, the train station is only about a 20-25 minute walk away. I recommend if you don't mind getting your hands dirty!

Excelente experiencia; Ricardo es muy amable y sonriente, siempre dando recomendaciones para conocer lugares cercanos a Boliqueime. También acercándonos a estos lugares cuando se podia. Me gusto muchísimo colaborar con los compañeros de trabajo de Bangladesh, siempre muy felices y cantando todo el tiempo. Las horas de trabajo y de descanso se cumplen perfectamente tal cual está establecido. Muchas gracias ❤️

My experience here was amazing! I definitely recommend it. I stayed here for 8 days and I have seen a lot, but if you have more time I recommend staying longer (though I now have a good excuse to come back to see the rest!). Algarve is so beautiful! The work is good, just right. The hosts are very nice. Ricardo asked if we wanted to go with him when he went somewhere. And the food is delicious! Only point of improvement could be more communication on my first day. Luckily I had an amazing roommate, Caro, who told me everything <3 I loved it here💕 Thank you for everything!

I really enjoyed this experience. the farm is not only a beautiful raspberry farm it's the home of a kindly family. Gorgeous sunsets. I could be unplugged while I was working. Ricardo was attentive and flexible with the schedules, which allowed me to travel and get to know Portugal better. Nelia, Ricardo's mom, a great woman that I'll always hold in my heart and his father a gentile man.

What a wonderful experience! Riccardo and his family were so welcoming and generous, I loved working everyday because the reward of all my meals and their incredible pool to use daily was so rewarding! They did everything to make me feel welcome, I highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my time at the farm! The work is not too difficult and well-being is taken care of. Ricardo was always open for questions and very flexible with the days off. Then, I went on trips to the nearby towns and beaches and had very nice impressions. For a quiet and close to nature experience I can definitely recommend this place !

I was volunteering for only a week, but it was a really great experience for me, and I truly enjoyed my time there. The tasks were not boring, and Ricardo did care about us not doing the same thing all the time, which was very helpful, and I really enjoyed the work there, although it was a bit hot :). Ricardo and his family are honestly really nice, and caring, they try to help with everything, and even if I had some problems they immediately tried to solve them. The Algarve is so beautiful, and it's a great chance to see it, although the public transportation is not that great.

I was here for two weeks, it was my first experience with worldpackers. I really enjoyed these weeks! I felt welcome, we always got great advice for things to visit and do and the work was nice. The work is not too hard but sometimes it only can be a little to warm, but that's okay. I would absolutely recommend to go here! :) And also the food was really amazing!
