Quiero agradecer la oportunidad de haber sido parte de su hogar durante un mes. Fue una experiencia valiosa, pero creo que hay aspectos que se pueden mejorar. En algunos momentos me sentí más como una empleada que como una voluntaria, y sentí falta de inclusión y empatía, especialmente en la comunicación. Por ejemplo, ciertas actitudes y gestos crearon incomodidad, pero no se abordaron. Entiendo que cada lugar tiene su propia cultura, pero creo que fomentar la integración y valorar el voluntariado como un verdadero intercambio marcará la diferencia

I had a nice time at the farm. It is quiet and very peaceful to sit by the pool, drink a coffee, and read a book after a hot day of sorting raspberries. You seriously need to bring bug spray and long clothing to cover your body because the mosquitoes are bad. I was fed well and loved Neila's cooking.

Hola! Es un buen lugar, es seguro y agradable, Ricardo y su familia son buenas personas, agradezco por su hospitalidad, también a los trabajadores del lugar y a Fernando por su alegria Las tareas son sencillas y debes realizar el trabajo responsablemente, la comida es buena y el pueblo tiene un sistema de transporte de buses que es bastante espaciado en su horario por lo que es mejor coger Uber o bolt para transportarte, con mi compañera en este voluntariado fuimos a distintos lugares como Lisboa, sin duda si puedes conocer portugal! Si alguien quiere más información me puede escribir

Ricardo, Nélia and the team are so welcoming and friendly! Tasks are not difficult and Ricardo is flexible about the days you want off. Loved my time there and would recommend!

This was a great experience for a first time worldpacker like myself. For those seeking to be with nature and wishing to be in a tranquil peaceful environment - this is the place for you. Here I experienced real farm life and learned a lot about the various fruit plants cultivated in the farm.

I really enjoyed my time on the farm! Ricardo and the team are lovely and I connected with his mom Nelia. I loved getting down and dirty with the tasks - we pruned the raspberry bushes, planted new plants, prepared the boxes with soil and even helped construct the watering system. As mentioned on other reviews - it's a little inland and getting around isn't always easy but nothing Uber and a lift here or there can't solve. The train station is a 25 minute walk away and you can go to most of the main towns from there. Thank you Ricardo, Nelia and Fernando!

La granja fue mi primer voluntariado y creo que ni podría haber empezado de mejor manera! Si buscas un hogar lejos de casa, éste es el indicado! Las tareas en la fazenda me parecieron super interesantes, y fueron respetados los horarios indicados. No olvidaré la comida riquisima de Nelia, las charlas de frutales con Reinaldo,las salidas con Ricardo y João! Son una familia hermosa que me hizo sentir "como en casa", y me ayudó a conocer la cultura portuguesa y de Algarve! Gracias por cada momento compartido! 😊💖

I spent almost 4 weeks at the farm and overall I had a good time there. Ricardo and his family have been very nice and welcoming and the location offers the opportunity to spend some time immersed in nature and tranquility. Plus, they've been very flexible with my days off, so during my stay I was able to visit all the Algarve. The work can be a bit tiring at times, but it's never difficult and the working times were respected.

This experience was so good , I recommend if you like nature , peace and calm place , the sunrises and sunsets were beautiful . The village was lovely. Ricardo and his mother Nelia were so accommodating and kind . easy to get to train station and bus to go and explore . The work was easy and hours were respected . Ricardo was flexible with hours which allowed more time to explore if you do longer days !Nelia was so good and always had food for myself and other volunteers , everyone was very welcoming .
