This was a great experience for a first time worldpacker like myself. For those seeking to be with nature and wishing to be in a tranquil peaceful environment - this is the place for you. Here I experienced real farm life and learned a lot about the various fruit plants cultivated in the farm.

A experiência no sítio me deu oportunidade de conhecer sobre o processo de plantação e colheita de framboesas e amoras! Conheci os trabalhadores locais que são ótimas pessoas! Ricardo e Neia os anfitriões estiveram sempre presente ! As horas de trabalho/descanso foram super respeitadas , inclusive no primeiro dia que estava indisposta não trabalhei e foi tudo ok!! Tive a oportunidade de conhecer e fazer amigas do Brasil e do Chile! A Nelia nos levou a uma festa incrível em Loulé! Agradeço muito a oportunidade!!

I really enjoyed my time on the farm! Ricardo and the team are lovely and I connected with his mom Nelia. I loved getting down and dirty with the tasks - we pruned the raspberry bushes, planted new plants, prepared the boxes with soil and even helped construct the watering system. As mentioned on other reviews - it's a little inland and getting around isn't always easy but nothing Uber and a lift here or there can't solve. The train station is a 25 minute walk away and you can go to most of the main towns from there. Thank you Ricardo, Nelia and Fernando!

Essa foi minha primeira experiência com a Worldpackers e posso dizer que fiquei muito feliz com a escolha. O trabalho não é difícil, porém requer um certo esforço físico, principalmente nesta época do ano onde se aproxima o verão. O Ricardo (anfitrião) é extremamente paciente, atencioso e flexível, os horários foram respeitados, bem como as três refeições. Todos na fazenda são bastante receptivos e tive a sorte de fazer boas amizades, o local é lindo!

Ricardo é simplesmente uma anfitrião maravilhoso que entende perfeitamente o conceito do voluntariado. Ele é muito pacienete e flexível e gosta de conversar. Tem uma vibe maravilhosa e tenta fazer com que todo mundo se adapte bem. A Nélia, mãe do Ricardo, é maravilhosa também. Sempre muito atenciosa, fazia com que a gente se sentisse em casa e muito bem-vinda. Ela que preparava nossas refeições, que eram sempre muito gostosas!!! O café da manhã a gente mesmo preparava: Tínhamos pães, manteiga, geléia de framboesa, café, leite e até yogurt. O almoço e o jantar foram servidos todos os dias.

I spent almost 4 weeks at the farm and overall I had a good time there. Ricardo and his family have been very nice and welcoming and the location offers the opportunity to spend some time immersed in nature and tranquility. Plus, they've been very flexible with my days off, so during my stay I was able to visit all the Algarve. The work can be a bit tiring at times, but it's never difficult and the working times were respected.

This experience was so good , I recommend if you like nature , peace and calm place , the sunrises and sunsets were beautiful . The village was lovely. Ricardo and his mother Nelia were so accommodating and kind . easy to get to train station and bus to go and explore . The work was easy and hours were respected . Ricardo was flexible with hours which allowed more time to explore if you do longer days !Nelia was so good and always had food for myself and other volunteers , everyone was very welcoming .

O Ricardo é um anfitrião super flexível. A fazenda é enorme, então tem sempre uma coisinha a se fazer nas plantações. Consegui conhecer a Espanha nos meus dias livres, já que faz fronteira. Senti falta do sinal do wifi no quarto e da carona na chegada.
