I had a wonderful time in the farm! ☀️ The place is really beautiful and surrounded by lush nature. It's quiet and relaxing. In our room and in the house everything was clean. Nélia's food is very good, she cooks really well!Ricardo and his family are so kind and welcoming that you'll feel like home. They are always available if you need something and they can suggest you a lot of places to go in the area. I really liked the work in the raspberry field. You'll learn a lot thanks to Ricardo who will explain you everything about raspberries and make you experience all the different tasks.

My time at the farm was absolutely amazing. The chores are easy and the environment is wonderful. Ricardo and Nelia care about their volunteers, they treat us like family and do everything to make sure we have a pleasant stay. Also, Nelia's food is amaaaazing!

Absolutely amazing experience! Everyone were so welcoming, the working hours are great and the work itself is fun and not too difficult. I would totally recommend this for anyone who wants to explore the Algarve area. Huge thanks to everyone for making my stay great:)

Excelente experiencia para aprender portugués. Ricardo y toda la familia muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar en lo que necesites. Las salidas de café y paseo con Nelia fueron maravillosas. Los compañeros de India muy simpáticos, todos tratando de entendernos en algún idioma. Totalmente recomendable esta experiencia. Los llevo en mi corazón.

I had a great time! Joao and Nelia were the ones living in the house at the moment, so they were in charge of Patricia (the other volunteer) and me. The work there is completely manageable the only thing is that there is not much public transport around to get to places during the free afternoons. On the other hand, I had such a good time with Joao when he offered to take us out almost every afternoon to different beaches, bars, etc. I had an inconvenience and had to leave the house earlier than expected. Thankfully, Ricardo was super comprehensive about this, and he helped me with everything.

Una gran experiencia para haber sido mi primer voluntariado aprendiendo de un rubro totalmente nuevo! Por otro lado, la comunicación y organización entre host y voluntarias funcionó muy bien, el ambiente fue muy acogedor y el sitio bien ubicado, solamente el transporte local fue una dificultad, dada la poca frecuencia.

My stay with Ricardo and his family was great. I felt welcome and the work was easy and fun. The other volunteers were also super nice and I am happy that I spent such a good time there. In my free time I went to the beach, hiking or visited surrounding city's like faro. I can only recommend volunteering with Ricardo :)

Como primera experiencia mia no tenga nada malo de decir solo cosas maravillosas... los dueños de casa muy amables y cariñoso, la gente que conoci respetuosas y pacientes. Me ayudaron, enseñaron y tratado muy bien de hecho demasiado jajaj maravilloso lugar❤

Sin duda un lugar que me ayudo a reconectar con la paz, la naturaleza y conmigo misma. Todos fueron muy amables conmigo, gracias a ellos conocí hermosos lugares en Algarve, conocí personas nuevas y muy interesantes. En la casa estuve muy comoda, no me falto nada en absoluto. La comida es muy rica y hecha con mucho amor!

I really enjoyed volunteering at the farm! Working hours are not too long and I was asked what time I preferred to start work. I started at 8 and had all the afternoons free. After quitting my job where I had to spend the whole day at the computer, it was so refreshing to work outdoors. Boliqueime is a cute little village close to the ocean and yet not too touristy. Ricardo and his family are truly welcoming. Ricardo's mom cooked for me and it was not a problem that I am vegan. Ricardo told me a lot about the surroundings and he recommended so many places to visit that I could barely choose.
