I really enjoyed my time at the farm! The work is not too difficult and well-being is taken care of. Ricardo was always open for questions and very flexible with the days off. Then, I went on trips to the nearby towns and beaches and had very nice impressions. For a quiet and close to nature experience I can definitely recommend this place !

I was volunteering for only a week, but it was a really great experience for me, and I truly enjoyed my time there. The tasks were not boring, and Ricardo did care about us not doing the same thing all the time, which was very helpful, and I really enjoyed the work there, although it was a bit hot :). Ricardo and his family are honestly really nice, and caring, they try to help with everything, and even if I had some problems they immediately tried to solve them. The Algarve is so beautiful, and it's a great chance to see it, although the public transportation is not that great.

I was here for two weeks, it was my first experience with worldpackers. I really enjoyed these weeks! I felt welcome, we always got great advice for things to visit and do and the work was nice. The work is not too hard but sometimes it only can be a little to warm, but that's okay. I would absolutely recommend to go here! :) And also the food was really amazing!

I had a wonderful time in the farm! ☀️ The place is really beautiful and surrounded by lush nature. It's quiet and relaxing. In our room and in the house everything was clean. Nélia's food is very good, she cooks really well!Ricardo and his family are so kind and welcoming that you'll feel like home. They are always available if you need something and they can suggest you a lot of places to go in the area. I really liked the work in the raspberry field. You'll learn a lot thanks to Ricardo who will explain you everything about raspberries and make you experience all the different tasks.

Foi uma experiência ótima e certamente recomendaria a outras pessoas! O trabalho é tranquilo e Ricardo extremamente atencioso. A fazenda fica a cerca de 20 min andando de uma estação de trem, então é fácil ir visitar outras cidades. Alem disso, é possível ir de bicicleta por um caminho lindo até uma ótima praia

My time at the farm was absolutely amazing. The chores are easy and the environment is wonderful. Ricardo and Nelia care about their volunteers, they treat us like family and do everything to make sure we have a pleasant stay. Also, Nelia's food is amaaaazing!

Absolutely amazing experience! Everyone were so welcoming, the working hours are great and the work itself is fun and not too difficult. I would totally recommend this for anyone who wants to explore the Algarve area. Huge thanks to everyone for making my stay great:)

1 mês de voluntario finalizado, em um lugar lindo como Algarve, no meio da natureza e que consiga realmente descansar. Ricardo tem bastante paciência para explicar as tarefas e bem flexível em relação aos horários. O trabalho é tranquilo na maior parte do tempo, de 9am as 2pm (sem pausa para almoço) e é bom levar roupa confortáveis. Tem supermercado grande com 10m de caminhada, farmácia, estação de trem e ônibus próximos e facilidade de uber. A comunicação em relação as refeições poderia ter sido melhor, com alguns dias com as 3 refeições combinadas não respeitadas. Obrigada pela experiência!

I had a great time! Joao and Nelia were the ones living in the house at the moment, so they were in charge of Patricia (the other volunteer) and me. The work there is completely manageable the only thing is that there is not much public transport around to get to places during the free afternoons. On the other hand, I had such a good time with Joao when he offered to take us out almost every afternoon to different beaches, bars, etc. I had an inconvenience and had to leave the house earlier than expected. Thankfully, Ricardo was super comprehensive about this, and he helped me with everything.

Foi uma boa experiência para um primeiro voluntariado. Ricardo é muito flexível com o trabalho que precisa ser feito nas estufas, além de ser bem paciente e atencioso. A dona Nélia é uma querida, muito cuidadosa e cozinha muito bem. A fazenda é bonita e confortável, porém a localização não é muito favorável para se deslocar facilmente com os transportes disponíveis.
