The Experience

We'd like to go on short holidays and looking for someone to petsit. We have 4 cats- feeding 1x aday, a dog - feeding and walking, birds (2hens,3ducks,2geese) -feeding and checking if they're all in coop in the evenings (they have automatic door). The house is in renovation but there's bedroom, sitting room/kitchen and bathroom available. We don't have central heating so you'd need to make yourself a fire to keep warm. It's very rural area

I spent one week with Dima and Kalina at their home, and I had an amazing week. They are very friendly and welcoming, and make some great home grown food. I got to know the pets and settled in straight away. The area around the house is amazing and I loved to explore. The work was not too challenging and we took regular breaks while working on different projects. I hope to come back in the future, if possible! I can't wait to see the house when the renovations are completed.

I must admit I expected to learn little about French culture and its social dynamics, but with Dima and Karina it was incredible to learn about French and other cultures (I'll leave you with the intriguing of how much you can learn with them when you arrive at their peaceful home). Cisco will love you if you love dogs 🫶🏼 I wish you a wonderful experience like the one I had with them. Merci beaucoup pour tout, mes amis.

We really enjoyed our stay with Dima and Calina, for our first experience of Woofing! The hosts were welcoming, and there was a great atmosphere all week long :) We did tasks tailored to our skills in a very pleasant setting surrounded by nature Kisses to Cisco, and thank you again for your welcome!

I had a great time! Before arriving I had caught a cold and the hosts were understanding and very welcoming, even offering me medicine and days to rest. The work was engaging and unique. If you aren't familiar with sustainable living you will definitely learn something new. The surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous, every morning I woke up to bird song and the forests are great for walks. So long as you are ok with rustic accommodations you will find this experience rewarding. I highly recommend!
