My experience at the eco village was truly eye opening ! I have helped in many different tasks and that is what I liked the most, the diversity of the daily jobs. From harvesting different fruits that the forest gives, like bananas, avocados, inhame, the fruit that holds the coffee beans , cajá-mirim,… to create digital drawings for a catalogue of the agroforestry that Lara and Luiz are developing. I also helped in the bio construction of a little house that in the 'work in progress stage' and it was great to help and learn at the same time about different types of techniques.

Eu acho que não conseguiria articular em palavras a experiência que foi estar na the farm. Mas, saio de lá completamente grata pela receptividade, que foi muuuito além de só me aceitarem nas datas combinadas. Luiza e Luiz se dispuseram a me receber no espaço e na casa deles, junto de suas famílias e isso não tem preço. E quanto aos acordos e comodidades, tudo muito bem esclarecido e combinado. Pude ouvir e aprender muito nas atividades e nas interações, o que foi muito bacana! O trabalho feito lá é massa, o lugar é ótimo e as pessoas que compõem ele são ainda mais! Obrigada!!!

Luiza e Luiz foram incríveis! Me receberam super bem, como parte da família. Durante minha passagem pelo sítio pude aprender e vivenciar práticas sustentáveis e em contato com a natureza. Antes eu considerava que eu comia “saudável” mas com eles aprendi a comer “natural”. É lindo ver como eles se organizam e como funciona o sítio. Tive um contato muito bom com os outros voluntários e fiz várias reflexões para a vida. Ficarei com saudades de todos, em especial do Fubá 🐶 e das meninas 👧 👧, Maitê e Anauá que entregaram muito amor através da sua energia ❤️

O voluntariado no sítio superou minhas expectativas. A forma de relacionamento com a natureza me conectou mais comigo mesmo. Tive um impacto real na mudança de meus hábitos e desenvolvi novas habilidades. Após essa experiência, desapeguei de coisas ruins e me conectei com novas coisas boas. Aprendi sobre árvores, métodos de plantação, cozinha saudável, podas, equilíbrio sustentável e relacionamento com o meio ambiente. Sem sombra de dúvida voltarei um dia para colher os frutos que plantei. Meu agradecimento aos queridos anfitriões!!

Essa experiência me surpreendeu, Luiz e Luísa me receberam como família, aprender sobre agrofloresta foi transformador, fui aberta a experiência do veganismo e os anfitriões deixaram isso muito fácil, participavam e preparavam a comida conosco, as meninas de 5 anos me deram aulas de alimentação e plantas. As tarefas foram combinadas e acordadas de forma flexível, Luiz sempre muito disposto a ensinar. Recomendo que provem os produtos locais, como o banaburguer e banamel. Foi incrível estar no sítio ❤️
