My experience at the eco village was truly eye opening ! I have helped in many different tasks and that is what I liked the most, the diversity of the daily jobs. From harvesting different fruits that the forest gives, like bananas, avocados, inhame, the fruit that holds the coffee beans , cajá-mirim,… to create digital drawings for a catalogue of the agroforestry that Lara and Luiz are developing. I also helped in the bio construction of a little house that in the 'work in progress stage' and it was great to help and learn at the same time about different types of techniques.

O voluntariado realizado na the farm foi uma experiência rica e diversa no sentido de conhecermos algumas etapas essenciais no manejo de uma agrofloresta, de manutenção de um sítio e acompanharmos a produção de alguns subprodutos que vem da banana. O local em si é muito bonito, contando com várias espécies de plantas e há um rio que corre dentro da propriedade. Há uma cozinha bem estruturada para os voluntários . No mais, posso dizer que os dias que estive lá foram muito gratificantes não só pelos aprendizados que tive como pelas pessoas incríveis que pude conhecer.

Fui a Morretes em busca de ar puro e desconexão da cidade grande e das redes sociais, vivendo 10 dias de voluntariado ecológico no sítio. Levei minha família e filha que completou 1 ano de vida, e fomos acolhidos com carinho pelos anfitriões Luiz e Luiza. Participei do manejo das agroflorestas, registros em foto e vídeo, trocas de ideias, cozinha coletiva e conheci o projeto Quintal Beija Flora. Também experimentei produtos locais como banamel e banaburguer. Uma vivência rica, de muito aprendizado. Voltei com o coração cheio, grato e com vontade de voltar em breve. Aho!

Eu acho que não conseguiria articular em palavras a experiência que foi estar na the farm. Mas, saio de lá completamente grata pela receptividade, que foi muuuito além de só me aceitarem nas datas combinadas. Luiza e Luiz se dispuseram a me receber no espaço e na casa deles, junto de suas famílias e isso não tem preço. E quanto aos acordos e comodidades, tudo muito bem esclarecido e combinado. Pude ouvir e aprender muito nas atividades e nas interações, o que foi muito bacana! O trabalho feito lá é massa, o lugar é ótimo e as pessoas que compõem ele são ainda mais! Obrigada!!!

Luiza e Luiz foram incríveis! Me receberam super bem, como parte da família. Durante minha passagem pelo sítio pude aprender e vivenciar práticas sustentáveis e em contato com a natureza. Antes eu considerava que eu comia “saudável” mas com eles aprendi a comer “natural”. É lindo ver como eles se organizam e como funciona o sítio. Tive um contato muito bom com os outros voluntários e fiz várias reflexões para a vida. Ficarei com saudades de todos, em especial do Fubá 🐶 e das meninas 👧 👧, Maitê e Anauá que entregaram muito amor através da sua energia ❤️
