Tasks include light cleaning, small maintenance, occasional painting, Room inspections Rounds, interacting with guests, hosting some events & More! I had a great stay at the hostel! Kauã, Matteo and all the staff were so kind and welcoming. The perks of this job are so good - free laundry, breakfast, ingredients to make lunch and dinner and a free drink at the bar. Sometimes the work felt like a lot of responsibility but the perks definitely made up for it! I met such cool people and the events at night were so much fun. Would definitely recommend this worldpackers experience!!

The hostel is a wonderful hostel and I was very happy to have my first volunteer experience here. Kaua is incredibly hard working and very understanding. He brings a wonderful vibe to the shifts! He answers any questions you might have, is very solution oriented and treats everyone with respect. I enjoyed working and hosting the events a lot!! We had the freedom to change or adjust things so that they worked better for our personalities. I really loved working with the staff and getting to know all the guests and volunteers as well! Thank you for the wonderful stay.

This was such an amazing experience! I was welcomed in by loving arms by Kaua and all the staff and felt right at home right away! The work was easy and fun and i was able to explore Florence at the same time. I made so many memories and met so many people that i will remember forever! 100% recommend the hostel for anyone thinking about becoming a volunteer!

Working at the hostel for those few days was wonderful! I was able to practice my English and Italian! And I was also helpful to native Portuguese-speaking guests like myself. The working hours and shifts are well organized. In my free time, I was able to explore the city of Florence and the neighboring towns. The place is safe and friendly. The cleaning staff is friendly, the reception staff is super attentive, and my managers are always cheerful! I will definitely return to enjoy another season here.
