I had a great stay at the hostel! Kauã, Matteo and all the staff were so kind and welcoming. The perks of this job are so good - free laundry, breakfast, ingredients to make lunch and dinner and a free drink at the bar. Sometimes the work felt like a lot of responsibility but the perks definitely made up for it! I met such cool people and the events at night were so much fun. Would definitely recommend this worldpackers experience!!

The hostel is a wonderful hostel and I was very happy to have my first volunteer experience here. Kaua is incredibly hard working and very understanding. He brings a wonderful vibe to the shifts! He answers any questions you might have, is very solution oriented and treats everyone with respect. I enjoyed working and hosting the events a lot!! We had the freedom to change or adjust things so that they worked better for our personalities. I really loved working with the staff and getting to know all the guests and volunteers as well! Thank you for the wonderful stay.

This was such an amazing experience! I was welcomed in by loving arms by Kaua and all the staff and felt right at home right away! The work was easy and fun and i was able to explore Florence at the same time. I made so many memories and met so many people that i will remember forever! 100% recommend the hostel for anyone thinking about becoming a volunteer!

Working at the hostel for those few days was wonderful! I was able to practice my English and Italian! And I was also helpful to native Portuguese-speaking guests like myself. The working hours and shifts are well organized. In my free time, I was able to explore the city of Florence and the neighboring towns. The place is safe and friendly. The cleaning staff is friendly, the reception staff is super attentive, and my managers are always cheerful! I will definitely return to enjoy another season here.

This was my first volunteer experience but definitely not the last! I originally applied to host the social events, which i did, but since I got socially exhausted from time to time the lovely bar manager Kaua let me switch to morning shifts from time to time. This was only possible because we were so many volunteers at the same time. Which was great by the way! I had a lovely time with the other girls and could form some true friendships. If you're an extroverted person you'll have a lot of fun hosting karaoke, pub quiz and beer pong for example. Kaua is an amazing and understand boss!!

The thing the made this experience so good was the people! Thank you Kauã, Matteo, Emma, Antonia, Alessandro, Vins and all the girls for all the amazing memories we shared! The work here can be quite busy, especially at night, but with the amazing team I had during my stay, it was doable. I enjoyed that everyday it was something different so you don't get bored of hosting the same event all the time. I had the whole day to myself which was perfect to explore the city and go on day trips. I leave with a sense of job well done and with a wish to come back one day and visit everyone ❤️

The hostel was a great experience for me. I learned more about how a hostel works and also established a good relationship with the staff. The karaoke nights with Kaua were definitely unforgettable. I hope to return someday!

Ngl, I fell in love. the hostel isn't just a hostel, the staff were super welcoming, considerate, and lovely…Making it feel like home from day one. Volunteering here felt like joining a family you didn't know you needed. And the cherry on top: meeting amazing people from everywhere and experiencing Florence at its best.

The hostel has been a delight. The staff is so welcoming and lovely. From day one I felt like part of the team. If I needed something they were happy to help. Expectations were clear and they gave me tips on how to improve as well. Kaua goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable and confident. The only thing is not everything is listed and sometimes they will ask you to help make something when you have no idea how, and it's not listed anywhere on how to make said thing. That being said, if you say you are confused or don't know how the staff will help.
