When things slow down and there are fewer guests, we finally have time to think ahead. We’re looking for volunteers who would like to: help with small maintenance tasks take care of the garden and outdoor spaces share ideas and support us in developing new improvements and, of course, be part of our daily rhythm in a calm and friendly atmosphere We offer meals, a bed, and a warm welcome in our quiet little village by the sea. Being at the hostel is more like joining into a new family. You will get to know more about the Danish culture and environment. You get in contact with local people as well as more international, depending on when you go there. You also get to explore around if you like. It is really close to nature. Working there was really a pleasure, helping out where it was needed. The host also pays attention on what you like to do and your interests. There are kind and loving people and I would really recommend it to all the people who wants to find peace and hygge.

It has been amazing! as a volunteer I coudn't ask better. It hasn't seemed a volunteering, more like visiting a friend or a distant relative and help him with a move. The terms of the agreements were respect and even more.The tasks were light and easy. Gitte and her family are careful about your needs and they care about your stay is confortable and not boring.They suggest you activity and place to visit.You can borrow bikes,cars and paddle boards.The hostel is in the middle of a national park and with a beautiful view of the fjord. I HIGHLY RECCOMENDED YOU! If I could give 6 stars, I would!
