It was an incredible experience! Meet the other volunteers, create links, the staff is great! And taking care of dogs every day, playing, walking them, cuddling them, cleaning them of course was great! Giving them love every day is great. I stayed 1 month but I should have stayed there longer. Thank you to the whole team for your welcome and kindness!

This was my first volunteering experience so I was a little nervous going into it but the staff and other volunteers were so welcoming and made it feel like home away from home. Jaz has created such an amazing place for the dogs it's truly unexplainable. The place is even better than you can imagine and they truly have the dogs as the main priority. I couldn't recommend this experience more, it's very well organized and well kept. Such an amazing place!!!

As a first time world packer I couldn't have asked for a better welcoming than what was provided to me at the shelter. The staff were amazing and the volunteering (and dogs) were even better. Jaz provided an organized manual which was much appreciated as well as a homely environment, which is an absolute necessity when volunteering abroad. Absolutely recommend!

I really enjoyed my time at the shelter, spending time with such amazing dogs, learning their personalities and bonding with them was an incredible experience! I was also able to meet and connect with other like minded volunteers during my stay. The pack leader and Thai staff do an amazing job, it's clear how well loved the dogs are and how much they all care for them! I only met Jazmin twice, and whilst I do understand that she has other priorities, I was expecting more involvement on her part, the work we did at the shelter often felt unappreciated and less important, almost forgotten about.

The dogs are adorable and Marion, Toon and all the staff are doing an AMAZING job at running the shelter. I unfortunately didn't have the best experience, with instances such as scorpions in my room, unhygienic outdoor bathrooms, very long hours on very hot days (it's minimum ~40/42hrs a week, not 32) and unrealistic expectations of volunteers to understand what to do immediately. I think there is a lot of stress behind the project which puts strain on the volunteers who are trying their best, hence my rating of 3. I made some really good friends here but I don't think it was the place for me

Jazmin replied

Unfortunately, many parts are untrue. Our shifts are 5.5–6 hours per day, excluding breaks, with a maximum of around 36 hours per week, usually less. You were never scheduled beyond this. Other claims are also untrue and do not reflect reality. While I was not always on-site, our four-person team and manager provide full support. I was focused on our VetVan mission, helping 884 dogs in January alone. Thats my priority. We take honest feedback seriously but don’t appreciate dishonesty
