This project is a part of VetVan Thailand - animal welfare organisation that prevents stray animals from suffering by spaying, rescuing and treating. It’s a non profit thats helped over 20,000 animals since late 2017.

You can help us in variety of ways - by dog care and cleaning as well as promoting us on social media or even small construction work - the choice is yours!

Volunteering here is a rewarding community experience unlike any other. You will immediately become a part of the family and feel at home. We love Volunteers to apply their super-powers - you will not be boxed in by ideals, rather encouraged to use your skills and passion to improve the lives of the animals. Volunteers just like you are our biggest asset!

As we're a charity organization, all money we get in donations go to the dogs. The fee we charge is solely to cover the costs of your stay, so we can keep helping the most vulnerable animals. We do not make any money on this project.

Food and accommodation provided, as well as unlimited puppy cuddles and entertainment :) We hope you'll love our Tribe!

This was my first volunteering experience so I was a little nervous going into it but the staff and other volunteers were so welcoming and made it feel like home away from home. Jaz has created such an amazing place for the dogs it’s truly unexplainable. The place is even better than you can imagine and they truly have the dogs as the main priority. I couldn’t recommend this experience more, it’s very well organized and well kept. Such an amazing place!!!

As a first time world packer I couldn’t have
asked for a better welcoming than what was provided to me at Muttlands. The staff were amazing and the volunteering (and dogs) were even better. Jaz provided an organized manual which was much appreciated as well as a homely environment, which is an absolute necessity when volunteering abroad. Absolutely recommend!

My stay at Muttlands was my first Worldpackers experience, and I couldn’t have asked for a better one. The dogs are genuinely loved, and you learn so much about caring for them while getting to know each of their unique personalities.
Everything is well-organized, which makes the experience smooth and enjoyable. Jazmin’s work is truly inspiring, and the staff working there do an amazing job caring for the dogs.
If you love dogs and enjoy being around them, this place will feel like heaven!! The hardest part of this volunteering experience is leaving.

My time volunteering at the dog shelter Muttlands was a very positive experience. The shelter is cute and relatively quiet, though a bit remote, with limited activities outside of work.
The dogs are incredibly sweet, gentle, and lovely. Some tasks, such as cleaning, are less pleasant but are a normal part of shelter work. If you are traveling as a couple dont expect do have much time together.
The team at Muttlands made me feel very welcome. The staff and other volunteers were friendly and supportive, and the accommodation and common room were comfortable.
