Program Details

We expect our volunteers to be responsible, present, and engaged during their shifts. You’ll be part of a small team, so your role matters — not just for admin tasks, but for the overall vibe of the place.

You should be:

Punctual – showing up on time helps everyone.

Friendly and approachable – guests often ask for tips or just want a chat.

Detail-oriented – booking info, money handling, and shift notes matter.

Calm under pressure – sometimes it gets busy; a cool head helps.

Proactive – if something needs doing, don’t wait to be asked.

Respectful – of guests, teammates, the space, and the community.

No need to have prior hostel or reception experience — we’ll train you. But being comfortable on a computer and confident in communication goes a long way.
