The Experience

I had a wonderful week at the Kadampa Buddhist center. They welcome you very warmly, and I felt right at home. Even though I eat meat, the food was really good. The place is clean, the people are kind, the kitchen is well equipped, and the rooms are excellent. The tasks to be done are not difficult. I had a wonderful week, thanks also to the volunteers with whom we shared unique experiences. Yurlen is very kind and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that the shifts basically take up the whole day.

I spent two wonderful weeks volunteering at the Kadampa Center in Málaga. I helped with olive picking and gardening, which I really enjoyed. Everything was well organized, and the vegetarian food was amazing. The people were warm and inspiring, and the atmosphere peaceful — perfect for daily meditation. The center is set in a beautiful valley with mountains and fruit trees. I truly loved my stay and can highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a meaningful and serene experience.

It is a beautiful place and I met some lovely people. It is a good opportunity to practice spanish. Yurlén, the volunteer coordinator would do anything to help you. The work schedule is very clear (6 hours a day, broken up into 2 hour chunks). Thanks for having me and see you again!

I loved my experience at the Buddhist temple. It is such a beautiful place with caring people. Also the food is amazing ! You have a chance to take time for yourself or hang out with other volunteers as you wish. The tasks were quite chill as we were many volunteers at the same time so we could divide the tasks between us all. So, all in all if you're looking for a safe place and want to learn more about Buddhism and living with a community, I highly recommend this experience.

I had a wonderful time at Kadampa Templo. I will definitely be back one day. The place is peaceful and beautiful and so are the people. Felt like 1 big family. Yurlen (volunteer coordinator) really took care of me :)
