I enjoyed working at the centre and meeting lots of new people from different places. The food was very nice and the pool was a great way to cool off. The surrounding area is beautiful and I had some walks nearby. Very few people spoke English so it was a good way to practise and improve my Spanish.

This was such a unique and special spiritual experience that I am so honored I had the ability to experience. Everyone was so kind and welcoming and loving! And this was a great opportunity for me to improve my Spanish skills (although I wouldn't recommend if you don't know some Spanish already)! It was a cozy place to sleep in a shared room with the other volunteers which allowed us to get to know each other better! The food though, oh my goodness it was spectacular, and my favorite task was definitely working in the kitchen!

I absolutely enjoyed and loved the volunteering, mainly for the people, everyone there (administrators, managers, residents and volunteers) are amazing, close and welcoming. The tasks are good and they respect a lot your work and free time. The food is vegetarian but is delicious and healthy. Is a peaceful site for reflection and connection with yourself and of course it is also a wonderful opportunity to meet new people that shine and share many beautiful things with you. Super recommend this host!!

I had a beautiful week at the community and am deeply grateful for the warmth, love, and spirit of everyone there. The work was intensive at times, but as the days passed, my gratitude only grew for the opportunity to contribute to this thriving community and all the good it does. I attended daily meditations, deepened my practice, and learned so much about Buddhism—while having endless questions answered by the wonderful residents! The food was absolutely delicious—mostly vegan, varied, and incredibly nutritious. Thank you for an amazing stay, I treasure this week and all the people I met <3

I really enjoyed my time at the community Malaga! The other volunteers and permanent staff were very welcoming, the location is beautiful and peaceful, the food was great, the tasks were very doable and the fact that we could attend to the events/meditations was appreciated. I absolutely recommend to volunteer here!!

Extremely positive experience, I arrived without knowing exactly what to expect and found some beautiful people who love this place and do their best to take care of it. Everyone is super available, and despite the language barrier (almost no one speaks English) they do their best to try to include you. A very quiet place where everyone is very calm, positive and friendly.

I really enjoyed working at the community Malaga! The main tasks were housekeeping, but also kitchen hands and gardening in a beautiful environment. We worked as a team with other volunteers so it's the opportunity to make connections and feel like being part of a community. The center is well maintained, the accommodations are comfortable, and the food is delicious. So, i would totally recommend this experience!

It was a nice experience! The place was peaceful and overall the tasks weren't too hard. The residents and other volunteers were lovely. The schedule changes day to day, sometimes we'd start at 7am or later. Usually we'd get a message around 10 or 11pm the night before telling us when we'd start work the next day. I do wish there was more organization of the schedule and written confirmation of days off. There was a miscommunication for me and a couple of other volunteers where we were originally told we had a specific day off then were told the night before that actually we'd have to work.

It was a beautiful and very peaceful experience.I fulfilled my initial want of learning more about Buddhism and its philosophy through the lessons given, which during the week existed and with English translation in combination with the coexistence and the shared explanations of people in the community. The people are kind and the vegetarian meals provided are delicious. The working task can be tough.I'm very thankful to Bea through my stay for all the trust, support ,and opportunity given along my stay.Thank you for everything Bea,I truly appreciate it!You are wonderful!
