I had a great time staying with Kenta and his family. They introduced me to local dishes which were all delicious! And I had a very worthwhile experience teaching the kids some English.

Wow! This was such an epic volunteering experience. From the moment I arrived I felt so welcomed into their beautiful home and community. Teaching English at the school was so rewarding and the kids were so cute. I had lots of free time to relax, explore the area and hang out with the family. Could not recommend this experience more, will be hard to top!

This was my first worldpackers in Japan, and it was amazing! From the first day, Kenta san and his wife Natsuki san made me feel at home. They welcomed me with open arms. I truly got the most organic experience of meeting locals and I learned a lot about Japan and the world from them. I highly recommend this place, they have an energetic 4 year old son, Zen and a five year old dog Maro. Kenta san is passionate about learning and teaching English. Along with the school, I also assisted them once with working at the market near mt. fuji selling Natsuki san's cookies. I hope to come back one day!

Volunteering as an English teacher in Tsuru, was truly one of the most rewarding experience. Their enthusiasm, curiosity and dedication were great and beyond the classroom I had the opportunity to experience local culture and get to knowing amazing people, especially Kenta. I highly recommend this program because you would have the opportunity to learn more about Japan country life.

Participating in the school program was definitely one of the best choices that I've made. Kenta, the host is an amazing guy and intrapreneur and made sure my stay was amazing. They always made sure we had lots of food and that we enjoyed our time there working and outside of work as well he introduced us to so many local places like restaurants & villages. Thank you for having me. See you all in the future hopefully!!!

My host kenta and his wife are very good person. Our work is mainly responsible for teaching children as a teaching assistant, and other times are freely arranged. He often takes us to dinner and plays whenever he is free. This is my first time to come to Japan, and I am very happy.

My stay in Tsuru was really nice. If you are looking for a calming place where you will have a lot of time to fill as you please, this is for you. Tsuru is not the biggest town and there are limited things you can do. But it is pretty close to Mt Fuji and there are definitely places worth exploring, especially if you like nature. Even though Kenta just started hosting volunteers, I think he did really well. He is incredibly kind and will help you out with whatever you need. The teaching itself is fun. The children are very sweet and the lessons are easy to manage.
