I really loved my stay in Tsuru! You meet many Japanese students everyday and even though sometimes they're a little shy they are soooo cute! You do easy work and only work 2-3 hours a day. The staff is really kind and helping. Thank you for everything Kenta and Natsuki it was so nice to have the chance to live in the house with you! ❤️❤️

This was my first Worldpackers volunteering experience and I couldn't have asked for more. Kenta, Natsuki, and their son Zen made me feel like a part of the family, even going out of their way to help take us places by car. One of my favourite parts of the stay was playing with Zen and his trains! Teaching English in the cram school was great, and the kids were well behaved. We were given lesson plans and resources to help us teach. I loved meeting all the other amazing volunteers, and hope to come back one day.

Staying with Kenta and Natski was a wonderful experience, they have a lovely family and community. I felt like I was making a difference at the school by improving the English skills of children and adults and enjoyed getting to know other travellers. I had time to spend exploring the local area before working in the afternoon or evening and spent time with Kenta and Natski's family around the house and on day trips. Thanks both for a lovely experience, I've enjoyed getting to know you!

We had an amazing time at the school and are so thankful for the whole experience! Kenta warmly welcomed us and made us feel at home from day one. The school is well organized, with great programs like Chat Spot and adult learning. The kids and parents were lovely and truly value international teachers. Kenta is a generous host, and we loved spending time with his family. Tsuru is beautiful, close to Mt. Fuji, with nature, hikes, and great food. Unforgettable! Thank you Kenta! We had the absolute best stay with Kenta, Natsuki, and Zen. It was our first ever homestay and they could not have been more welcoming towards us. We loved the communal dinners where we would have the chance to connect with both their family and friends. The teaching was nice, the kids are very friendly and sweet and the classes had clear lesson plans and resources to help. We made many memories here that will never be forgotten. Thank you, Kenta, Natsuki, Zen (and Maro!!). We hope to see you again soon :)

Teaching English at the school was so rewarding and the kids were so cute. I had lots of free time to relax, explore the area and hang out with the family. Could not recommend this experience more, will be hard to top!

This was my first worldpackers in Japan, and it was amazing! From the first day, Kenta san and his wife Natsuki san made me feel at home. They welcomed me with open arms. I truly got the most organic experience of meeting locals and I learned a lot about Japan and the world from them. I highly recommend this place, they have an energetic 4 year old son, Zen and a five year old dog Maro. Kenta san is passionate about learning and teaching English. Along with the school, I also assisted them once with working at the market near mt. fuji selling Natsuki san's cookies. I hope to come back one day!

Volunteering as an English teacher in Tsuru, was truly one of the most rewarding experience. Their enthusiasm, curiosity and dedication were great and beyond the classroom I had the opportunity to experience local culture and get to knowing amazing people, especially Kenta. I highly recommend this program because you would have the opportunity to learn more about Japan country life.
