My first time volunteering and I loved it. Kenta's family is so welcoming and lovely, they made me a part of their family and culture from day one. It was so fun playing with their kid and talking to them! At the school, I met wonderful volunteers who'll be always in my heart, we made so many plans together. The children we had to teach English to were wonderful too, I'm going to miss everyone. This one experience, it's going to remain in my soul forever. ¡Muchas gracias por todo! ¡¡Nos vemos pronto!!

This has been such a great experience, the classes are very fun and easy to teach and the stay was very complete. They were so helpful in anything we needed and in the spare time we were able to explore beautiful parts or Tsuru and Kawakuchiko. I totally recommend this experience to all people that is looking to have a deeper experience with Japanese culture and looking forward to teach English and collaborate with other volunteers.

We spent a little over a month at Study Garden, and it truly was a wonderful experience. Connecting with the children, helping them improve their English, and being surrounded by such positive energy made everything incredibly memorable. I'm very grateful to Kaede and Fumi-san for always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed—they took care of us so well. We also want to thank Kenta for giving us this opportunity. We hope to come back someday.

I loved my time at Study Garden. The schedules were very organized & flexible. It was very nice to teach kids basic and more advanced English. It was also a great opportunity to meet people from all over the world. I enjoyed my stay with all of the other teachers. Everyone was very welcoming and taught me many lessons about Japanese traditions and cultures. There are temples, shrines, and plenty of beautiful nature spots in tsuru to explore. Also, the locals are very nice and respectful. I wish I spent more time in tsuru to learn more Japanese, very beautiful language. I hope to come again!!

Volunteering at Study Garden, was a truly heartwarming experience. I'm deeply thankful to Kenta, Fumi, and Kaede for their kindness, hospitality, and for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Teaching English to their students and immersing in Japanese culture was incredibly rewarding. I also loved the amazing bond with fellow volunteers from different countries—sharing positive energy and passion for the children of Tsuru. Work was light and we have more time in the day to explore the neighboring town. Study Garden, became my second home in Japan. I'd love to return again someday.

Volunteering at Study garden has been one of the best experiences! Everyone is so lovely and welcoming. The classes are fun and typically no more than two hours per day! I would definitely recommend, the surrounding nature and beauty is an additional bonus! I will miss living with all the other volunteers and felt sad to leave!

This was my first homestay and I am so blessed it was with this family. Kenta and Natsuki are excellent cooks and are fun to converse with, as well as Kaede and Yumi at the school. They have consistent meetings so everyone stays on the same page and operations run smoothly. I left with more knowledge on how to adjust with different learning styles, thus improving teaching methods. Tsuru is an underrated place to stay and deserves way more traffic. So excited to visit again!
