From the moment Sabrina and the children picked me up I immediately felt welcome and like i was part of the family. I worked in the kitchen for about 3 weeks and I really enjoyed it, especially because i was able to learn something new. Whether it was with Sabrina, Jonas or the grandparents who were visiting at the time, we had interesting conversations and talk about life in sweden as well as about life in switzerland. ;) In conclusion it was absolutely perfect all round, the volunteers, the nature and the working atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend it and would love to come back some time!

I spent 3 weeks there and I think it is the perfect place for anyone who loves nature or wants to connect with themselves, we had a lot of free time and a lot to do like riding bikes, paddle surfing or walking in the countryside. In my case, I did a lot of different tasks and enjoyed most of them. I would recommend it to anyone

If you want to get in touch with nature this is your place, it's a very calm and beautiful space and we had plenty of free time so you can do activities like hiking, paddle surf, biking, picking up berries... My task was mostly cleaning but people there are so careful and respectful so it's not that hard. It's a good place to rest and enjoy your time alone.

I am very grateful to be able to share Sabrina and Jonah's project/dream. They are delighted to share their philosophy of life, which allows you to travel through Swiss and Swedish culture. The tasks can be very diverse, so you will never get bored. You can also enjoy the various hiking and mountain biking trails in the area and paddle surf on the lakes, so immersing yourself in nature, in a very sparsely populated area, can be part of your daily routine. Therefore, it is a good place to connect with nature. I can only say thank you for being able to live this experience. Highly recommended.

I had a very enjoyable time in Skalsjogarden. I was truly captivated by the sorrounding nature, by the change to pick wild berries and mushrooms, and by have direct connection with forest. In our free time we had access to a car, bikes, SUP boards, allowing us to make the most of the place. I spent my working time in kitchen were I had the oportunity to do diffrent tasks. Sabrina and Jonas were very generous in sharing their knowhow. I also had the opportunity to prepare family melas, which gave great pleasure. Thank you, and I wish you all the best.
