The experience
As a Front Desk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for our guests. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, providing them with essential information, assisting with check-ins and check-outs, and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have. As a volunteer, you will contribute to creating a friendly and hospitable atmosphere, making our guests feel at home during their stay.
What you offer
32 hours of help per week
Night Shift:
Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.
Administration:
Help with booking systems and payments.
Reception:
Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Free Tours:
We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!
Certificate:
Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.
Basic Internet Access:
Basic speed internet for you to work remotely
Dedicated Workspace:

Requirements
Fluent English or Fluent Chinese
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details
Responsabilities :
-Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing a professional and courteous first impression.
-Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
-Provide information about the guesthouse, its facilities, and local attractions, helping guests make the most of their stay in the city.
-Answer and respond to emails and online reviews promptly, addressing inquiries and reservations.
-Handle guest requests and concerns, finding appropriate solutions and escalating issues when necessary.
-Monitor and respond to online reviews

-Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
-Support various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and updating guest records.
Rules
-Previous experience in a hospitality role is a big plus but not required. We value enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
-Basic skills with MS Office and/or Google Workplace.
-Fluency in at least two additional languages is required to effectively communicate with our diverse range of guests (Mandarin fluency is a bonus)
-Availability to work weekends or holidays may be required.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and stay calm under pressure.
