Staying with Jo was a fantastic experience. He is kind, generous, hilarious and knows so much about so many different things. He is full of well thought out advice and helpful advice. His property is beautiful, every part of our stay was wonderful. Lots of animals nearby including Jet the most fantastic dog, sheep, horses, and lots of birds and pademelons. I hope this was only my first visit to Jo's place:)

Jo is very easy to communicate with and is straight forward. He lets you know whats expected in terms of work and wont make you do anything you're uncomfortable with. The accomodation is cozy, clean, and a great space to wake up in and get your day started. You'll do things like mow, weed, clean and take labels of bottles, cook every so often, and depending on time of year, helping with the actual distilling process! the winery is a great central location for exploring beautiful hikes. We would definitely come back.

My experience at the winery & the winery was amazing. Jo is an incredibly generous and knowledgeable host, always happy to share insights about the local area as well as plenty of great tips on places to visit and explore. I had a lot of fun learning about how he makes his cider, brandy, pommeau, limoncello, and his other products. Working at the winery was always engaging thanks to the variety of tasks, which kept each day interesting and hands-on. A definite highlight was Jo's incredible cooking — and of course, spending time with Jet.

Jo was an incredibly generous host. Extremely knowledgable about the surrounding area and gave us great recommendations of places to visit. The work on the winery and in the winery was fun, I really enjoyed learning about the whole process. Jo's cooking was a highlight. I would 100% recommend!

This is the Worldpackers lottery :) I had an absolutely incredible stay at the winery. Jo is extremely kind and very generous and ensures you have an enjoyable stay. The work is very straightforward/simple leaving plenty of time to hang out with Jo's dog Jet and throw his ball :) Jo is very knowledgeable about the winery operations so there's lots of interesting things to learn and the tastings are fun to assist with! Jo made sure I got to see lots of Tasmania and introduced me to a lot of genuine people. I am so appreciative to have stayed with Jo and Jet! Highly recommend!!
