It was my first time volunteering, and it was one of the most enriching and unforgettable experiences I've had! It was my first time volunteering and I couldn't be more satisfied. The place and the people grew close to my heart so quickly. The place itself has a really beautiful meaning and atmosphere. I only spent a few days there, but I would definitely stay longer if I could. The working hours fly by really quickly and then you have time to explore the surroundings. If you like biking and running or just going on walks, then this place is for you. Also I can't forget to mention that Lawrence was really kind and always made sure we had what we needed.

I spent two weeks at the Casino helping with repairs, painting, and general upkeep. Lawrence was a kind and caring host with a great sense of humor. His project has real heart and impact. In our free time, we biked through the forest, played games, and shared deep conversations by the fire. I learned a lot despite having no prior experience and would love to return for a longer stay. Highly recommend If you are looking for something new and special!
