I can't put into words how much I enjoyed this volunteering experience. Eveline and Lien welcomed me from day one and managed to keep the place as positive as possible. It's a place where you can truly feel part of a the organization while helping to preserve this special spot. They have so much potential, and the project is all about sharing. It's a great example of how far people can go simply by helping each other. You give them a helping hand, and they give you an opportunity to connect with art, culture, and people. I can only be thankful for being part of this amazing team.

The casino was an experience I'll never forget. The perfect first volunteering experience as you could always ask for help from the other volunteers! (Being with others was also pleasant, you really felt like a part of the organization) Be noted it's a little walk from the train station when you plan, and the closest store is a few kilometers away but as some of the volunteers owned cars we we're able to do trips and such. I truly hope the Casino will succeed in what it plans for the future and I'll be sure to visit in a year or two 😊

I had an amazing volunteer experience the organization this month. I loved the variety of tasks, from renovations to working in the cafe and bar. It was a great opportunity to meet locals and even learn some Dutch! I made some lifelong friends. A special shoutout to Lawrence, the owner, who was incredibly friendly and helpful – it was a pleasure working with him. I highly recommend this volunteer opportunity to anyone looking for a rewarding and immersive experience.

Just spent a fabulous time the organization at this unique project with lots of fun volunteers and staff as well as the bands and locals that come everyday. The building is gorgeous and even though not everything is complete, the entrances are quite elegant. There were lots of different jobs but they needed a gardener which is what I do. They are getting ready for a wedding today. So, I spent all my time working on the gardens. Didn't get to see much else but will definitely come back to see all the progress and sights next year. The food was fanta and Lawrence is a great guy. Really enjoyed my time.

Volunteering at the Casino was an incredible experience. Lawrence, our host, was a fantastic support, and the volunteer the organization we built was truly special. I love that this project has a meaningful impact on the organization. There were a lot of jobs to choose from, but I specially enjoyed working at the bar. Highly, Highly recommended!

The experience was wonderful, the team was incredibly welcoming and the organization we built was amazing, the bonds we built working in a team and living together were very meaningful. Lawrence's vision for the place is inspiring and truly makes you feel like you are doing good and making a difference in the organization. The locals are curious and open, and the place was built on respect and appreciation. The possibility to travel around and do activities during our free time was ideal and allowed us to explore many things. I would recommend staying at least a month, it is absolutely worth it!

The project had real purpose, and contributing to something as meaningful as restoring a building for the organization made it even more special. It was my first time volunteering and I couldn't be more satisfied. The place and the people grew close to my heart so quickly. The place itself has a really beautiful meaning and atmosphere. I only spent a few days there, but I would definitely stay longer if I could. The working hours fly by really quickly and then you have time to explore the surroundings. If you like biking and running or just going on walks, then this place is for you. Also I can't forget to mention that Lawrence was really kind and always made sure we had what we needed.
