I had such an amazing time volunteering here. I made some incredible memories with the children and am already missing them so much. Volunteering in Africa had been something I'd thought about doing for years and I'm so glad to have had this wonderful opportunity. Adjusting to the culture shock was definitely eye opening and taught me lots but the hosts were so welcoming and kind and i loved meeting the other volunteers from different parts of the world.

Our experience with the host family (Elina, Jovin, and Joseph) was wonderful and beyond all expectations. They welcomed us with great warmth and respect, making us feel like part of their home from the very first day. During our volunteer work with the children, we received constant support from the family. They helped us understand the local culture, learn a few words in the local language, and integrate into the community. It was a deep and meaningful experience that left our heart full of gratitude. We recommended this family to anyone. You will give a lot but will receive even more!

Our experience with the host family (Elina, Jovin, and Joseph) was wonderful and beyond all expectations. They welcomed us with great warmth and respect, making us feel like part of their home from the very first day. During our volunteer work with the children, we received constant support from the family. The food was prepared with care and always shared with joy. The house was simple but very clean and safe, and the peaceful atmosphere allowed us to live the experience in a context where you give a lot but receive even more.

Chamazi has my heart! The hosts were lovely and helpful, the kids eager to learn, the locals so accommodating. I enjoyed every moment teaching the kids I wish I had more time. Elina and Joseph gave me such a welcome stay and their passion for their community's growth is commendable.

This experience was unbelievable. You get to live in a community so different in every aspect from what you are used to, which is extremely precious. You can contribute playing with and (trying) to teach the kids, and your money actually helps Jovin and Lina with their projects - and maintaining themselves. I found the area extremely safe too. The accomodation is decent and food quantitatively enough to survive, but be mindful before getting there that it's not a 5 stars resort.
