The Experience

We are a young family-run farm, we are located in Mombisaggio, a small hilly village typical of the lower Piedmont. We cultivate vineyards with principles of sustainability and care for the environment. Part of our business is dedicated to the production of CBD hemp. Depending on the season the volunte will take care of the management of the vineyard from pruning to the harvest through all stages of processing both in the field and in the cellar.

The entire period I spent at the farm was extremely pleasant. Gio, Cami, and Fede were always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with anything that was needed. The work is diverse, varying according to the season and the demands of the moment, which I personally consider a big plus. I had the opportunity to learn a lot about the world of wine – from planting the vines all the way to the moment the glass is served (and I can assure you, the wines are truly amazing). Even though I was far from home, they managed to make me feel like part of the family. It's no wonder I intend to return soon!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and it couldn't have been better. The location is beautiful and well-connected. The entire family was so welcoming. They're all incredibly, hardworking, generous & and it was a privledge to learn from them each day. The food was a huge highlight—fresh, homemade, and always shared together around the dinner table. Shared mealtime discussions became some of my favourite memories of the trip. This experience was beyond rewarding and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to connect, learn, and to be super involved in this amazing experience.

Camilla, Giovanna, Giovanni, Federico, Nicolò, and Sug made us feel at home. We learned about plant cultivation, the vineyard, and so much more. We shared work, tasks, laughter, conversations, and stories. It was a pleasure to be part of this experience and this family, we can't wait to come back! ❤️❤️❤️

It was a fantastic experience. We were welcomed by an incredibly attentive family and had a genuine cultural immersion. We learned a lot in the vineyards and the vegetable garden. Being a small farm with organic and sustainable production, we learned to do more with less. We felt like part of the whole from the moment we arrived. Those were amazing days, and if we have the opportunity, we will definitely return. We would like to publicly express our sincere thanks to the entire family (Giovanni, Federico, Camilla, Nicolò, Giovanna, and Sugaro), and of course, to the fellow Wordpackers.

My experience at the winery was an unforgettable experience. I experienced working in the Italian countryside up close, learning about sustainable agriculture in an environment full of beauty and tranquility. The coexistence with the ragazzi is excellent; They made me feel at home from the first day, sharing with me not only their knowledge, but also their culture, kindness and warmth. I feel deeply grateful for their hospitality and for allowing me to be part of their project.
