The Experience

Volunteers will help us run the daily life of our small B&B and vineyard. Tasks include cleaning the three guest rooms, doing laundry, ironing, and preparing meals. At times, volunteers will also work in the vineyard or vegetable garden instead of cooking, so flexibility and an interest in nature are important. Volunteers also help with wine tastings for our visitors, including preparation or serving.

It is a beautiful and relaxed environment. Giovanni is very hospitable and open about his winemaking process. Getting to see his family cook and work together to create an optimal guest house and wine tasting experience provided some valuable insight in to an industry that I plan on entering in to in the near future. Happy that I made it to this part of Italy and had access to a very authentic perspective of local culture.

Once again, the experience was amazing! I had the opportunity to take part in the grape harvest and wine production, which made everything even more special. Giovanni, Camila, and Federico are always present, attentive to the volunteers, and create a warm and enjoyable atmosphere. The work is well organized, the place is beautiful, and the living environment is very pleasant. I totally recommend this experience. I learned a lot, met wonderful people, and truly felt part of the family.

The entire period I spent at the farm was extremely pleasant. Gio, Cami, and Fede were always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with anything that was needed. The work is diverse, varying according to the season and the demands of the moment, which I personally consider a big plus. I had the opportunity to learn a lot about the world of wine – from planting the vines all the way to the moment the glass is served (and I can assure you, the wines are truly amazing). Even though I was far from home, they managed to make me feel like part of the family. It's no wonder I intend to return soon!
